allys pov guess what today is? the first day of school:(( I groaned as my alarm clock went off. I finally I hopped out of bed and went to the bathroom. once I finished I decided to change I put on this:

then I straightened my hair. after that I ran downstairs grabbed a granola bar and headed out the door. I decided to walk to school because it was super nice out. once I got to school I saw jacob and immediately ran up to him. "hey ally!" he said and hugged me "why hello" I said back to him "so what classes do you have?" he asked me it turns out we have almost all our classes together. yayay!! after that jacob went to go find his locker and I went to find OSS. this may be a pretty great year. *skip school* "hey babe do you want to go to the beach with me, Brandon, liv, Mark, sam, soph, and Blake?" jacob asked me as we were walking home "yeah just let me grab my swimsuit" I ran inside and grabbed my swimsuit then I got a towel and some sunscreen and met jacob back outside. *at the beach* we played in the shallow water for quite away and then we decided to go surfing. well me,jacob and Blake did. the others didn't know how. we paddled out into the ocean. we caught w few waves and then decided to just float. "ah nothing beats this" Blake said "I know right. floating in the water on a super nice day with my best friend and girlfriend." jacob said "yeah this is pretty great." I said I breathed in the salty air. then something bumped my board and I fell off. "guys go. now." Blake said paddling like his life depended on it. "shark!" jacob yelled I tried paddling but I stopped dead in my tracks.

my heart pounded and throat burned as I screamed for help. the water around was turning red and he'd been under for a good minute. then I saw it. the big, grey fin. I did what my first instinct was. punch it I found its eye and hit it. hard after that jacob came up. I grabbed him and tried to pull up but I couldn't. that's when a bunch if paramedics showed up and helped me. I guess someone on shore had seen the attack. once they pulled him in the sand. I flopped down on the sand. I was too weak to stand. then Blake came over to me "ally are you okay?!" he asked I didn't say anything "your knuckles are bleeding what happened?" he asked me I guess I punched the shark harder than I thought. I didn't care though. I just wanted to see jacob. I looked over and then regretted it immediately. he was all bloody and had cuts all over. then everything went black _ I woke up the next morning in my bed. my mom was standing above me "ally?" she whispered "how's jacob?"I asked her. she just sighed "is he going to die?" I asked her tearing up "there's a high chance. he lost a lot of blood honey. he- he's in a coma" I couldn't do it I started balling. my mom hugged me tight.
