PoV: Jughead

I'm Jughead Jones the 3rd. My life isn't that amazing...I never can get the girl that I've been crushing on for how long? Over a year now, and that someone is, Betty Cooper.
Betty walks up to me as she puts on that beautiful smile of hers.

"Hey Juggie!" she says as she grins. I love it when she calls me that, it makes me feel happy inside, and lately I haven't been feeling that way. Mostly because it was clear that Betty has feelings for not me, but football player, and great musician, Archie Andrews.
I say, "Hey Betts!" as I grin too.

"Want to go to Pop's after school with Veronica, Archie and I?
"Sure," I say immediately after she asks me. My face turned red as she giggles. "I'll see you at lunch Juggie!" A frown goes on my face as she leaves to go to Archie's locker. "Bye..." I say upset, but she doesn't realize.

PoV: Betty Cooper

As I go to Archie's locker, he leaves and goes toward Veronica. I just thought that they were just going to talk for a bit, but no. They do something that hurt me a lot.
They begin making out in the hallway, where it's just them and I. They didn't even notice that I was there. I was literally standing there crying, and they didn't even notice!!

Then Juggie comes over, gosh I'm so thankful to have him in my life.

He says, "Archie what the hell?"
Then Veronica and Archie look over at Jughead, who's beside me. Then, at me who's on the floor, crying my eyes out with my hands covering my face.
Veronica immediately says, "oh my gosh, Betty I'm so, so sorry. It just happened!"
I harshly said, "Well guess what 'V,' that doesn't just happen and I saw you guys kiss from the start. Has this been going on for awhile now? Cause Archie came up to you, and you just started kissing!"
V said, "b-but-"
"Just save it Veronica," then I just ran away into the field, with Jughead being the one who caught up to me.

When we were alone in the field, I started crying again. Big surprise! So, Juggie hugged me and he snapped me out of this Archie trance thing that I was having. He reminded me that I didn't need Archie. As a boyfriend I mean, we could probably still be friends in the future, but for right now, Juggie's the person I want to hang out with.

So I asked, "H-hey Juggie, since we obviously aren't going to Pop's with Veronica and Archie...would you want to go with just me?"

PoV: Jughead

This was it...my crush since awhile now, has asked me to go to Pop's...alone.
So of course I would respond with, "Sure! 7 o' clock sound good to you?"
She agreed by saying, "Yep, and good thing my parents are out of town, so I can actually stay out late this time."
"Oh g-good!" I replied nervously and with a smile.
I'm pretty nervous because, one, she's my crush and I want her to like me. And two, because I don't think she'll have as much fun as she does with, Archie, Veronica, her and I. Even though that might happen, there's no way that I'm going to not go! I mean cmon, she's Betty Cooper.
"Alrighty! Bye Juggie, see you later." She says.
"W-wait, Betts, can I ask you something?" I ask.
"Sure, what is it Juggie?" She says.
"During lunch today, do you want to go work on the Blue And Gold in the student lounge?" I say, waiting for a reply.
"Okay! And plus, I'm not ready to be hanging out with Veronica and Archie, right away," she agrees.
"Bye Betts!"
"See you at lunch Juggie."

Just as we were about to go to our next class, Veronica and Archie finally find us.
"Betty please forgive us," they both say.
"Umm, sure..." Betty says, it was obvious to me that she wasn't actually okay with what they did, right in front of her.
"Also, I'm not feeling Pop's tonight, can we reschedule?" Betty asks them, and gives me a wink.
"Oh..um okay." Veronica says, sadly.
"Okay bye guys!" Betty states.
As everyone we say our goodbyes, Betty and I run to the student lounge, because it was lunchtime.

Betty and I got to the Student Lounge aka the Blue And Gold headquarters. We just talk and talk. Nothing really important happened.
I was just thinking about how beautiful she is, I could say anything like that out loud, because I feel like she still likes Archie, but when she doesn't...I hope that she'll like what she hears.
