From a tiny seed it grew,
With hope, trust and love.
Seeming like an eternity until it grew,
Grew into a big, huge tree.

Really mellow and softly, it took its breath,
Making use of every molecule it needed.
This tree gave them life,
Giving itself a pursuit of pleasure.

It worked so hard for them,
Day in and day out
Reaping itself with tremendous satisfaction.
This tree was rigorous about their existence,
With an invisible, yet a calm serene.

But what did they do?

Their preposterous mind and ethereal heart filled with greed,
Asked them to break that bond of trust, hope and love,
For their artificial need.

Their cold blooded bodies,
Froze their heart; that threw their emotions,
Over that gnarled loving tree!

Yes, the tree that protected them from a serious escapade, death.

Their hands with rage and greed,
Holding the axe giving negative vibes,
Slammed onto the tree's trunk,
With unfriendly and forbidding expressions.

All that poor tree wanted is their existence.
Giving its beautiful self.

Well, they got what they wanted, but not what they needed.

No one mourned for the tree's death
No one ever will.
In fact, no one will ever realise what a despicable act it was.

Never mind, there were other trees to keep those polluted bodies alive.

How long will it last anyway?
