The Maple Tree Angel Chapter 1
I was in love with a vampire.I know what your thinking,its just another vampire love type of story.But its not just that its much more.as a young werewolf ive always dreamed of finding my other half,the love of my life my mate.too bad it wasnt as easy as it seemed for me.never have I expected I would lose hope after countless tries,but catching my eye on a vampire was out of my fairy tale book.His name was Savior.as light as an angel it seemed with blonde striking hair and gorgeous green eyes,no one would never have anyone guessed he had a thrist for blood and chaos.He truly was the light in my never ending darkenss.And thats all it seemed its all we had was love.He feared one day I would truly find my mate but I believed he was my one and only.5 years together since the age of 12 I believed our love would be immortal just like him,i knew one day I would leave this earth but complete and full of love.Savior was all I thought about,night and day dusk until dawn.We would sit under the maple tree where he first found me as a young child and as a young immortal.Never would I expected I would loose him,the one I would love forever.That one night.That one mistake.That one Tear.Thats all it took for my life to be torn apart.Thats all it took for my immortal love to parish into thin air,Taking half of me with him.
Ray's Pov
''Savior!Angel?''I called running towards the back of the large marble theater where he last stood waiting.
His green eyes sliced into mine a grin tugging at his lips,''i told you it was a surprise luna''
I blushed quickly covering my eyes with my hands and turning the opposite direction,''sorry!''I squeaked.
I stiffened a giggle as I heard savior sigh and all too soon I felt his arms wrap around my waist,''want to see your surprise now my luna?''He whispered in my ear sending chills down my arms.
I nodded excitedly as savior grasped my hand and led me further into the parking lot.
''can I see now?''I whined my hands still covering my eyes,Savior gave a small squeeze and removed my hands from my eyes.
I opened my eyes to a remarkable sight. A 2012 V2 Mustang with black leather interior,Black and navy blue paint sat in the middle of the empty parking lot.
''You didnt''my voice only rising up to a whisper as my jaw practically dropped,''you didnt get me my dream car savior!''I screamed flinging myself onto the hood.
I kissed the hood as savior began to laugh,i turned towards him as my eyes began to sting.
''This is so sweet..its beautiful savior''i gasped rushing into his open arms.
He barried his head into my neck inhaling my scent,''Just like you my luna''He replied planting a kiss on my lips.
I grinned and tugged him towards the car,''my dream car on my 17th birthday,where were you 2 years ago?You really had to make me drive my uncles beat up pick up to school instead of this?''i gestured towards the car I said smiling and lightly punching his arm.Savior only grinned,''You needed experience first before I could get you,''he mockingly gestured towards the car,''this''
I rolled my eyes and pouted,''the keys sav?''
He smiled and grabbed my hand once more and led me away from the parking lot.
''were not going to drive it?''i said glaring,''you cant just show me the car and then LEAVE IT''i accused pushing away from him playfully.
''I''he gathering me in his arms,''have other plans besides the car my luna''He quickly kissed my forehead and led me across the street of the theater.
Towards O'brian park which sat besides Alkie Cemetary.
Walking in a comfortable silence I looked down towards our laced hands,smiling to myself.
''Were here luna''Savior's voice brought me back to the present,he pointed towards a well set picnic bellow the large silver maple tree where he had found me years ago.
''A picnic?in the dark..''I questioned smiling,''only you Angel.only you''
Savior put a our hands to his chest,''i will love you always luna,''his green eyes meaning every word.
I allowed him to bring my hand to his mouth,kissing it softly.
After a while we had layed staring up at the stars as he pointed towards the brightest one,''see there luna? The brightest star is said to bring you peace.Remember me as the star luna''He whispered holding me closely in his arms.
I heard a growl emenate from the tree line, my eyes fluttered open following saviors gaze towards the dark shadows of the willows.
Savior's eyes searched the dark shadows of the park suddenly,pulling me up with him,''Rayelina.There are things ive done that im not proud of.Winning your heart is so much more then I deserve,''He brought our foreheads together,''But know this.I love you Rayelina Caraway and I always will.Dont forget that my luna''He whispered holding my gaze.
Questions filled my head,''Why are you saying that as if somethings going to happen Angel?''
''The time of payment is here luna''He whispered,when I began to speak he covered his lips with mine.
We molded together,our lips never separating in our undying love.
Savior drew away staring towards the dark trees of the forest entrance,''why wont you bring your car luna?''He asked holding me tightly running his hands down my arms as if memorizing the feel of my skin.
Staring into his eyes that held nothing but warmth,i nodded numbly drawing away from him towards the street.
As if in a trance I couldnt understand why I was walking away from savior at a time like this,uncontrollable of my movements.
When he called my name I turned,''I will love you forever my luna.you wont ever forget that right?''
Not in control I nodded,''I love you more then anything savior.Ill go get the car ill be back''I called walking further away from him.
I watched as savior disappeared in the dark depths of the park as I continued walking towards the theater.
Halfway across the street I felt the pain.something pierced my heart making me stumble into the sidewalk grabbing my aching chest.I felt fear.
The pain spread across my body,my limbs began to shake along with my pounding head,I doubled over.
''Savior...''I whispered and sprinted across the street back to the park,running back to the spot where my love once was standing,i turned towards the entrance of the dark trees.
Panic filled my mind as I began to run in between the trees,''SAVIOR?''I screamed looking around frantically.
I stopped suddenly and sniffed the air,The scent of iron filled my nostrils.
My face paled.
I followed the scent sprinting in desperation,''savior if your making this up then you had your fun!now come out-''I stopped in my tracks.
A body laid a couple feet away,a body with mattered blonde hair.
