Your point of view....

I was strolling through the forest with Carl. Rick wanted us to go on a run and find things on our own, which I didn't completely mind, I mean, I'm with Carl, my boyfriend, secretly.

"Hey, (y/n)." Carl called me and offered to climb up a tree with him. I nodded and climbed up. We both sat on a high branch and he grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. I blushed and looked at him as his cheeks was a light pink and he smiled. "I've been wanting to tell you this for a while now." Carl spoke very softly and I raised an eyebrow. "Yes?" I questioned him. He stayed quiet for a moment and looked at out dangling feet.

"(y/n) I love you." He spoke.

"I-I love you too." I spoke, blushing hard. Carl cupped my cheek and kissed my lips gently. My face became redder with the contacts of his soft lips. I closed my eyes and kissed back gently. Times seemed to slow, his warm face close to mine and he pulled away softly. I open my eyes as he looks into mine, his eyes, full of lust. He smiled gently, which made me smile. He gripped my hand tighter.

"Please don't leave me." Carl quietly begged.

"I wont, I will never leave." I replied softly. I rested my head on Carl's shoulder and he messed with my hair. He made feel calm and wanted. I soon fell asleep on Carl's shoulder.

I wake up to a loud crash on the ground, I'm hanging upside down, my legs and arms hanging tightly around the branch. I hear Carl groaning loudly, I look down to see him on the ground, leg bent the other way. I gasped and safely got down the tree and ran to Carl.

"Carl, you're gonna be fine." I spoke quickly.

"Oh my god, get me home!" Carl screamed in pain, tear running down his left cheek.

I looked to my right to see about a dozen walkers walking toward us. My eyes widen in fear and I pick Carl up and hang him behind my shoulder. 'Fuck fuck fuck.' I thought to myself and started jogging, Carl's groaning loudly. "Carl, please try to be quiet, you're attracting walkers."

"Just get me the fuck home!" He screamed. I tried to go faster but I was loosing breath quickly. I see walkers all around me.

"Carl..." I spoke then I hear gun shots behind my ear.

"CARL! YOU"RE GOING TO ATTRACT MORE OF THEM!" I couldn't go anywhere, walkers were all around us. I layed Carl down, but he stood back up on his unhurt leg, hopping on one foot.

"If I'm going to die, I'm going to die protecting you." Carl spoke. A tear started to roll down my cheek. I grabbed my knife and Carl grabbed his and we started stabbing walker's heads in. One by one, the fell to the ground, loud growls and the feeling of blood splattering on my face. My arm soon became tired and I hear a loud yelp from Carl. I look at him as a walkers is pulling flesh from his neck. I quickly stab the walker and stabbed the last few and quickly sat on the side of Carl.

"Oh my god, Carl, oh my fucking god.." I started to cry harder and I crested the right side of his face.

"(Y/n), I'm going to be fine." Carl spoke softly. My tear fell on his cheek as I kissed him softly, for the last time. He kissed back, but soon I didn't feel him kiss. His lips slowly faded away from mine and looked at him. He wasn't breathing, no life left in him. His hat was on the ground upside down and I put in the bag. I looked at Carl's lifeless body as tears streamed down my face quickly. I kissed is cheek, "I love you, Carl." I spoke softly. "You didn't deserve this.." I rested my forehead on his and closed my eyes, having my knife in my hand.

"I love you.."

I stabbed the side of his head and cried loudly.

This is what he would have wanted.

I picked him up and walked him to Alexandria.

-time skip to lazy to write-

Gabriel opened the gait as he looked at me in terror. Rick quickly ran up to me and I started crying as Rick did too.

¨I tried saving h-him!" I cried loudly as Rick took him out of my arms. I unzipped my bag and gave Rick the hat.

¨I'm sorry...¨
