Night and Day

I am day as you night,

And as you are dark, I am light.

We chase each other from East to West,

Hopeful but doubting it’s for the best.

Little you could know, that our time was done,

For you dwell the night, and I; the Sun.

So I wish you good luck, but please heed these words my friend,

We are forever in a competition that has no end.

So play well, play fair, and without sin,

The race has started… So let’s begin.
