Going "home"

I recognized them instantly, but decided to keep it to myself. They probably didn't want me if I started talking to them about their work. They introduced themselves.

"I'm Lewis and this is Hannah." He says pointing at the blonde haired girl beside him. "We're going to be your new parents."

"Scarlett" I said as if nothing was odd. I was dying on the inside, but I kept my composer. I was shy, so it wasn't that hard to be quiet.

I had already packed my stuff-it all fit in a small backpack-and carried it to a car parked outside.

"Would you like me to help you?" Lewis said.

"No. I'm fine. I'm not a bay. I've got muscles.." I reply. "I think."

We all got in the car and drove to their house. It was odd being in the same car as my idols. I guess I'd have to get used to it. I was super exited to see my new home. Hannah noticed.

"Jeeze. Someone's exited! Are you hungry?" She asks as we walk in their house.

"Sure. What do you have for snacks?" I ask.

"Snacks,snacks,snacks." Lewis mumbles as he searches through the pantry. "We have granola bars. We were planning to go out tonight, so you shouldn't eat too much."

"She can eat what she wants Lewis!" Hannah says, startling me a bit. "Oh! I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you!"

"It's okay." I quickly reply.
