After the Call Pt. 3

MEREDITH'S POV
I was walking to the exam room to get an update on my patient's labs when Callie stopped me.
"If you want to not be behind on "work", come with me." Huh? I followed her anyway just to see what was going on.

We went into the ladies' room and she told me everything about April.
"Oh my god. Is she actually gonna file?"

"She said she was serious. I can't wait to see that little bastard in a courtroom!" Callie said. I don't know why she was so happy.

"Right, okay, um, I'm gonna go pick up my labs, see you later."

"Okay, bye."

Oh my god. Jackson's going to jail. Everything is changing and I can't keep up. But I am certain of one thing. I have to make amends.

After the talk I had with Callie, I paged Cristina and Derek into the on-call room.

"What's going on here? I need to schedule my patient's lung transplant." Cristina said.

"Yeah, what's going on, Mer?"

"I wanted to say I'm sorry. I've been pushing you guys away, and I just want you back. I want my person and husband back."

"Mer, I've always been your husband."

"Cristina?"

"*sigh* Yeah, yeah I'm your person again."

"Good. Because it seems like the people's lives around me are just falling apart. Jackson's going to court, mainly."

"Whoa, whoa. Jackson's going to court? Why?" Cristina asked

"April's filing a sexual harassment charge against him."

"Why?"

"Oh, just come with me." I said as I dragged her out of the room.
