My Brother's Worst Enemy

Chapter Five ( Jade's POV )

I called MIilly who was supposed to be on her way here , just to rush her . I'm kind of still in shock from that car . What is this the second or third time that's happened ? I'm not buying the thought that they keep getting lost . It's not a big subdivision , not many wrong turns you can make , not at all alot of ways to get lost . I wished I could get a clear view of the driver , those tinted windows are no joke . I looked down at my phone screen and saw that I was sitting on the phone with Milly for a min . "Hello ? ....... Hello ? ..... Jade , ya there ? " I put the phone to my ear . "Yeaa, my bad . I was lost in thought girl . Daydreaming . " she laughed "Alright well i'm like 5 mins away . Hope you got the snacks and a good movie ready . " We laughed , we always do the same routine when she comes over . " I'm finna hop on that now , gotta sneak the snacks up stairs . Call me when you pulling up . " she couldn't stop laughing at my rebel side my parents hate eating upstairs . " Alright , see ya soon ." We hung up and I put my phone on the charger and went down the spiral steps , they lead directly into the kitchen . I went in the pantry and got a grocery bag as if I was going to change the bag in my trash can . I stuffed it with fruit snacks , hot chips , juices , all kinds of cookies , and all the candy in the world and went back up the spiral steps .

I threw the bag on the floor next to my bed and fell over onto my bed . I love being spoiled , this whole queen sized bed and I'm only 5'2 them smallest thing walking . This whole big 'ol room for just me , i'm such a brat . I picked up my phone and called Tony , he was the only thing besides that car I could think about . All that venting he did on our outing . He let it ring twice then answered " Hey bae ! " let me tell you bout his voice in the speaker of my phone . That deep but tender voice , it kills me everytime . It never fails to make me melt . " Hey hunnniiiiii " I laughed into the phone . " What you doing Jay ? " I looked around my room to find something to do , so I could tell him I was doing something . " Really nothing . Just thinking ." I had alot on my mind including his little crush on our waitress earlier . " Bout what ? " I hesitated to say something about that part of my day so far but I rather he knew I noticed that . " Our date ." I figured he would have guessed it couldn't be good but he said " What about it ?" as if he figured it was good news . " Nothing major ." he smacked his teeth " What's on your mind bae ? " he really can't take HINTS . " Since you wanna know even though I triedddddddd to drop it . " I said making sure he heard my plead to drop it . " I still wanna know ." he reminded me . " You sure are stubborn ." I got up out my bed and started walking around my room . Making sure I watched my step so I wouldn't trip over anything I had laying around this junk yard . " Yea and your wasting time isn't Milly on her way there ? I wanna know what is on your mind ." I huffed and took a deep breath and said " I noticed how you were looking at our waitress , what was her name ... Ruby ?" I could hear him groan . " You had me thinking you were finna say something serious , tell me how much fun you had , or tell me how you felt about me since I poured out my heart to you , I swear I can't with your petty bs ." and he ended the call . I knew he would be all in his feelings if I said something but whatever . Life continues .

I sat in my room scrolling around netflix for a movie until Milly called again . It sure is taking longer then 5 mins. I went downstairs with my parents who were being a little to quiet . I jumped from behind the corner and scared the life out of my parents . My mom sat there as red as an apple and my dad frowned at me . " Did I scare ya ? " I asked in my sarcastic voice . " What you want Jade , we are watching a movie . " my dad asked gesturing to the flatscreen . I figured they'd be watching a movie , due to the fact they are sitting in the MOVIE room . " Nothing it was to silent and I got bored , just came to check on ya . " I said exiting the room before my dad could say something smart . I ran back up to my messy room , and heard my phone ringing from outside the door . I burst in and flew from my door to my bed where my phone was laying . It wasn't at all who I expected but this call meant even more . " Hey Alex . " I was more calm this time talking to him since we just talked not to long ago . " Wasss good Jade ? " I laughed he tried sounding so thug . " Right now , nothing . I'm bout bored as life has ever made me . " he died laughing . " You and me both , Jacob mad at me . " my laughter stopped . " What'd you do now ? " I asked all stern as if I was mom . He huffed . " I left this morning to go running before he woke up . So when he woke up he panicked . Now he is pretty pissed at me . " I laughed really hard . " That's it ? I thought you were gonna say something dramatic . " my line started beeping . I looked at the screen , Milly was calling on the other line . " That's what I said . " Alex laughed along with me . " Well Alex , ima call you later . Milly outside . Bye brody . " he said his bye right before I switched the lines over to Milly's phone call . " Hey Boo ! " she yelled into the phone . " Don't hey boo me , you said 5 mins. " she chuckled i'm in the driveway , open the door . " she said it like I had to , but I did it cause I wanted to . I had some much to tell her about . Maybe ima keep the crazy car to myself for now . I ran down to the door , taking the spiral stairs . I opened it and .....
