🐬Zoey's POV🐬
I had to go with him - in our pod, nobody should be left behind. So I followed him. I pondered what that path would lead us to. Would it be death? Would it be tragedy? I had no idea what was in store for us young dolphins.
We kept swimming until our fins gave in, thinking we could rest for a while - thinking we could be off-guard. I nodded my head to give my assent, not knowing what this would lead to. Not knowing there were no breaks in the wild.

What have I done? What was I thinking, allowing myself to bring my best friend to a deadly part of the ocean. Adventure? Ha! This was an adventure all right. Now it's my job to keep Zoey safe. Anything for Zoey; my life for Zoey.
