"Oppa." You said as you shook Onew awake. There was a thunderstorm in Seoul and because of that, you couldn't sleep.
It was the first night you both slept as wife and husband and you couldn't enjoy it at all. The sound of thunder was depriving you of that.
Not only did the thunder keep you awake, but it scared you to say the least. Scared would actually be an understatement compared to how afraid you really were of the thunder.
You had tried to ignore the thunder and just watch the rain pour out of the window until you feel asleep, but it did no good.
Onew was sound asleep. Mouth gaped open and snoring as loudly as a jet engine's motor. Storms never seemed to wake Onew, but then again nothing could really awake him.
"Oppa." This time you dragged out the 'a' and shook him as harshly as you possibly could.
His snoring suddenly stopped and he groaned. From what you could see in his dark bedroom, he sat up and faced you.
"Jagiya, what's wrong?"
You jumped when lightning scattered the sky and a sound of thunder boomed throughout the city.
Onew wasn't fazed at all by Seoul's bipolar weather.
"Aw jagi, don't be afraid. " he cooed.
"Stop making fun of me." You pouted.
He giggled at how uneasy the weather was making you.
"Come here jagi."
He wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you up to him. Your head was now resting on his chest and you tried to block out the sound of thunder.
"Close your eyes and picture yourself in your happiest moment."
Onew began to sing softly. The combination of listening to his deep voice and heart beat was more than enough to ease you.
He ran his hand up and down your back, trying to calm you more until you could fall asleep.
Your eyes started to feel heavy and within thirty minutes of Onew trying to help you sleep, you were out.
He didn't stop singing until he fell asleep himself.
The next morning you woke up to Onew singing to you yet again.
"How did you sleep jagiya?" He asked with a kiss on the cheek following his question.
"Fine. It wasn't hard to fall asleep with you helping me."
"Was it my angelic voice?" He asked jokingly, but with pride.
"No, it wasn't." You said in a way that made him think you didn't like his singing.
"Oh." He said with a frown on his face and pain in his voice.
"You told me to picture myself in my happiest moment, and that's what made me fall asleep."
"Well, what did you picture?"
"The day I married you of course."
His face instantly brightened and he playfully hit your arm.
"Ah, jagiya you had me thinking I didn't help at all last night."
"Aw, I'm sorry oppa."
You rested your head on his his shoulder and promised you'd never trick him like that again.
"So does this mean my singing wasn't bad?"
Now it was your turn to hit him and the rest of the morning you two wrestled until Onew gave up.
