"I need you to watch Dung Min." You explained to your husband that you would be on a trip for work and that wouldn't be home until the next afternoon.
Chanyeol looked up to you from the tv. "By myself?" He asked.
"Yes, by yourself yeobo."
"But,"
"But nothing. I have to go. You can handle your own son for a day, can't you?"
"Yes, yeobo." Chanyeol sighed.
"Good." You said with a smile. You have him a quick kiss and made your way to the front door.
"Wait, you're leaving now?"
"Yep, bye. I love you, have fun." You slammed the door on your way out and mentally laughed at what trouble you knew your son was going to cause for Chanyeol.
"Hey!" He yelled out. Of course he was ignored and left alone.
As if on queue, Dung Min started screaming.
"Appa!"
Maybe he'll stop if I ignore him. Moments later, he ran into the living room and stood before his father.
"Appa!"
"Four years old and you're still crying like a newborn." Chanyeol rolled his eyes.
"Appa!" He dragged out his calls longer each time and it only got more annoying.
"Dung Min!" Chanyeol yelled back in the same tone.
Dung Min stared at Chanyeol like he was crazy. It got him quiet, but not for long.
"Appa!"
Chanyeol scooped Dung Min up and spun him around. It always seemed to calm him down, or in this case, get him quiet. And it made him giggle.
"Appa, I'm hungry."
"Omo, why didn't you just say that?"
"I don't know."
"Ah, this kid."
'I don't know what to cook though.' He thinks to himself.
"What do you want?"
Dung Min mumbles something Chanyeol couldn't understand.
"Hm, how about some ramen?"
Dung Min replied by nodding and yelling out, "Yeah!"
"Okay, okay." Chanyeol laughed and walked into the kitchen with his son still in his arms.
He sat Dung Min down on the kitchen table and searched the cabinets for a package of the noodles.
"Here it is!"
"I just need to boil it, right?" He read the instructions a few times, obviously not sure of exactly what to do.
"Okay I just boil it and add the flavoring, easy enough."
Chanyeol placed a pot of water in the stove and waited for it to boil. He sat down in front of Dung Min and tried to think of something he could do to pass the time.
He decided to turn on the radio and listen to that because he knew how much his son loved music.
"Do you know this song?"
Dung Min shook his head no and danced to the rest of the song.
"It's your noonas' song,"
"Remember your noonas', the girls from 2NE1?"
Dung Min put a tiny finger to his chin and went into deep thought for a moment and finally yelled out.
"I do appa!"
"Can you sing it with me?"
Dung Min gave Chanyeol yet another blank stare. Chanyeol laughed and began to sing along to 2NE1's "Gotta Be You".
Chanyeol stood up and danced around the kitchen with Dung Min in arms, laughing harder than ever.
He continued to dance and sing to music with Dung Min until his food was ready.
Chanyeol figured both him and his son could nap after eating. He's only hoping that this hyper kid of his will want to nap, or there'll be some problems...
