No Thoughts Left To Rewind
Your memories have started to fade
With nothing else coming my way
You are still at the back of my mind
But there are no thoughts left to rewind.
I used to think of us two
But now I am forgetting you
Your face is not clear
now I don't wish you were here.
Is this some kind of a game
That is being played by fate?
I have forgotten your eyes
As each day, a memory dies.
Is this right or is this wrong?
For I am not sure where I belong
I believed my heart belonged to you
But then you proved me wrong too.
Because you left her and then me
Even though it was unknowingly
I can forgive but can't forget
That you left me for that brunette
But now that you are fading away
I have nothing else left to say
For I am happy that you are gone
So that I can gladly move on.
