Sweet Stuff (Sekizan Takuya x Reader)

"Thank you for coming Miss, we hope to see you again soon! " you said as you waved one of your regular customers goodbye before proceeding to continue wiping down the little wooden coffee tables. It always brought you happiness when you served returning customers, it was a sign that you were doing your job properly and that your uncle no longer needed to worry about his cake shop going under while he was attending business seminars overseas.
Even though you still attended high school, you thought what was the harm in helping a family member? Plus the extra money would come in handy when you graduated and moved onto college.

As you finished cleaning the last table, you heard the familiar "RING" of the shop's bell alerting you that you had another customer to serve. Spinning around quickly, eager to please, you noticed that your next customer was a Third Year student from your school, Kanagawa High School...the infamous Rugby Captain, Sekizan Takuya.

Brushing yourself down, you moved behind the display counter and greeted him politely.
"Hello, how can I help you today?"
If you were really honest with yourself then you had to admit that you've had a tiny crush on him for ages, he was an impressive athlete and he did have a nice body with all those well-defined muscles...
"I'd like a chocolate filled taiyaki please."

His voice snapped you out of your trance, realising you'd been drooling over him in your mind a deep blush darkened your cheeks while you prepared his order.

"That's ¥120 please, are you sitting in or taking away?"

"I think I'll sit in today, thanks."

As you walked him over to the free booth by the window, you couldn't help noticing him smile, his smile was so beautiful that I almost rendered you speechless... no what were you thinking ? You're working so all your attention must be focused on your job, you have a responsibility to look after this place and you can't neglect that because some hot guy shows up. Then again this wasn't just any guy, this was the guy you've been in love with for close to two years now so you allowed yourself that little unprofessional thought.

Carrying out your other tasks as usual, you would sneak glances towards Sekizan every now and then until he finishes his sweet and is about to leave the shop.

"Goodbye, I hope to see you again soon!"

"You can count on that" he replied with a soft smile before exiting the door and walking past the shop window, turning around to give you a little wave before walking away.

For the following two weeks, Sekizan always showed up at the shop and he always bought the same treat. Not once did he miss a day, it was like visiting the shop had become part of his daily routine, not that you were complaining, this just meant that you could see him more often than you did at school and any time spent with him was a blessing in your mind.

"RING"

"Hey (Y/N), I'd like to change my order today" he said as he walked calmly into the shop and sat down at the same booth you gave him the first time he came to your shop.

Changing his order? Why would he want to change it ? He always has the chocolate filled taiyaki...

"Sure, no problem, what would you like instead?" you replied trying to sound as normal as possible, yet inside you were worried that it was maybe all your fault that he would want to change his mind. What if you'd prepared it wrong the last time? Nerves took over as you waited impatiently for him to answer.

"I'd like two chocolate filled taiyaki, one for me and the other is for the girl I've liked for quite a long time. "

The words came out so naturally and seemed to take all the air out of your lungs. How could you have been so stupid? Of course he had a girlfriend, there was no way a guy like him would ever be single or not have someone he loved.
