Lucy's eyes widened. She could talk again. However, that's not what she needed to focus on. In a panic, Lucy dropped her bag and placed her tablet on the toilet seat, as she rushed over to her father. "D-dad???" She tried shaking him awake. "Come on....this is no time for your sick jokes!" Tears started to fall as her lip quivered.

Suddenly, a slight movement shuffled through the tub. Lucy looked up in hope. Her father's eyes flinched. "Damn!" His voice cracked. Suddenly, a hand pushed Lucy's body to the ground. "Don't you ever knock!" He growled, slowly helping himself get up out of the empty tub. "S-sorry...." she apologized, scurrying off the ground. He stood up, placing a dark blue robe around his house clothes. "You didn't even go to work today, did you?" Her eyes narrowed at his. His face grew aggravated, "how much of an idiot are you?! I don't have a job! I made that up so I have an excuse to leave the house and get the hell away from you! Your a fuckin disappointment!" Lucy's eyes widened as she struggled to hold tears back. He took one step closer, making Lucy move one step back in fear. This process was repeated until Jude eventually backed Lucy out of the bathroom and against a metal railing with fancy swirl designs. He smacked her face, making her fall to the ground, clutching her cheek. "S-stop!" She screamed with the little courage she had left. Her body squirmed with fear. Another hand inched closer to her face, making her flinch. "Why!" He grunted, kicking her stomach against the railing. "Are!" He continued his sentence as he kept pounding Lucy's stomach with his foot. She inched closer to the stair case with each kick. "YOU STILL!" His voice grew with anger as he kicked her closer to the edge of the top stair. One last kick, he grunted "ALIVE?!!?!" She was shoved down the stairs, as she laid at the bottom, holding unto her broken ribs. She wailed out in pain. Her father glared at her fragile body, and coldy shunned away, walking into his room on the upstairs.
Lucy remained on the ground, spitting out blood from her mouth. Suddenly, everything went dizzy and her eyes immediately didn't hesitate to close.
-
Banging of a hallow door echoed throughout the room. "LUCY! ARE YOU IN THERE?!!?" The sound of a familiar voice awoken the girl from her slumber. She eyed the door, not having enough strength to call out to him. Suddenly, the doorknob jiggled as it swung open, revealing Natsu with the spare key in his left hand. He examined the living room, before spotting Lucy all curled up at the bottom of the stairs.
A pool of blood surrounded the area her mouth rested. Natsu's eyes widened in horror. "L-L-Luce?" His jaw dropped, as Lucy's eyes glared at him with hopelessness. His eyes burrowed and his fists clenched. He cluttered his teeth together, "who did this to you?" His voice was low, and his hair gently swung in front of her face, covering his eyes. Lucy couldn't speak. "Don't tell me it was him." Lucy remained motionless as tears escaped her quivering body. He was ready to jolt up the stairs, before Lucy coughed up more blood. His eyes immediately turned toward her with worry.

-
"911?" Natsu talked through the phone, across the room, so Lucy couldn't here. Then he sighed, closing his flip phone shut. "An ambulance will be here soon. Just hang tight." He sat on a couch, facing Lucy, with his hands folded across his lap. His voice growled at the thought of the monster who would do this. None the less, her own father!
