Darkness...

It's cold and dark. I can't see anything, or feel anything. I am lying on the ground pathetically. I just need to move. Just move already, damn it. My body feels numb and I lost all sense of touch. Heh, this is the end for me. What a way for me to die here all alone. I slowly fade away and so do my thoughts. Finally, I am at peace...

~~~
Huh? What is this warmth? I was freezing cold just now. I slowly sit up. I thought I was at- wait. What exactly happened? Ouch, my head hurts. I can't seem to remember. A wooden door on the right side of the room creaks open and I see a pretty girl with long, beautiful, silky blonde hair. "How are you holding up? Does it hurt anywhere?" the girl asks.
"I'm a bit sore but I'm doing fine. Where am I? Who are you?" I reply with questions.
"I'm Tia" says the girl. "I found you inside a cave with injuries all over when I was looking for something. If I hadn't been there, you would have surely died. What were you doing inside that cave?"
"I-I don't remember. No, I can't recall anything that happened. I just get a fuzzy and numbing pain when I try to think. Wait, you saved me?"
"Yes, I did. You are heavier than you look. But I couldn't just leave you there. I wouldn't be able to live myself if I did that" says Tia.
"Ah, how can I ever repay you?"
"Your name, do you remember it?" Tia questions me.
"Oh yeah, sorry about that. I'm Adol"
I feel like I've seen an angel. I notice my shirt on the drawer beside the bed. I hold it up. Whoa, it smells like Spring. I put my shirt on.
"C'mon, let's go. I made you some breakfast" Tia smiles. She walks out of the room and I follow behind her. Whoa, this food looks amazing! My mouth starts to salivate.
"C-can I really eat this?" I ask. I stare at the food.
"Dig in, you must be starving." Tia smiles again. "I already ate. I'm going out to the garden just outside of this house to take care of some flowers. If you need something, I'll be there."
Tia goes out the door. Delicious! I've never ate food this good before. I finish the food really fast. I put the dishes away in the sink. I look around the house. I see a sheathed sword leaning against the wall. Hmm. I go and take a closer look. I unsheathe the sword. This sword has a shiny yet dull color to it. It has been used before. Wait a minute, isn't this my sword? Yes, I believe this sword is mine. This feels exactly like the same as the sword I used before. I can't be mistaken. I go outside. I hold my sword firmly. I starting swinging the sword around to see if I am in shape to fight or not. My injuries don't seem to affect me.
~~~

The wind blows strongly...

BOOM. I hear an explosion. What was that? It sounded like it was just outside of the house. I better go check it out. I run outside and look around. Monsters suddenly came from nowhere. One of them swipes at me, but I managed to evade their attacks. I've seen them somewhere before; they are called Ri'gor. There's an eerie aura coming from them. They all want to kill. There are about five of them. One of them lunges at me. I swing my sword in a smooth motion and cut it in half right down the middle. Four of those vile creatures are left. All four of the Ri'gor jump at me all at once. I kick on one of them in the head and it flies and falls on the ground. I punched the other and but it jumped away just before I made hard contact. I dashed and slashed two of the Ri'gor's heads, they fall off. The Ri'gor on the ground joins the other. They both run on opposite sides of me. One to the left and the other to the right. This is getting on my nerves. I close my eyes. I focus and listen to their footsteps. Tap, tap, tap. The sound disappears. They strike.
