"Lonely Lover"

She died this May,

"What a let down," They say,

The cancer was to strong,

She was much to weak,

She was him,

And he was her,

Now he is alcohol,

and an outstanding slur.

Long last the lonely lover,

I truly hope you find another.

He drunkly gets through the day,

"Just one more," Is that what they say?

He finds no hope,

She is hoping from above,

That he'll find soon another to love.

Long last the lonely lover,

I truly hope you find another.

The alcohol soon consumes him,

Takes over his every thought,

Drowning him in his own tears and pain,

All he can do is cry out her name,

"Somebody save me,

I can't do this on my own"

Long Last the lonely lover,

I truly hope you find another.

But the alcohols affect-,

It doesn't last long,

Soon the whole bottle is gone,

And night has turned to dawn.

Long last the lonely lover,

I truly hope you find another.

Today is the day,

The ending of the pain,

He will finally be at peace to forever lay,

"Good-bye,"is the last words the living will hear him say,

And "Hello" will be his greeting to her.

The lover is no longer lonely,

He never really needed to find another,

She was truly waiting for forever.
