It was no strange thing that Nora and Ren had been dating for a few months now. the two shared a complicated history together. Ren smiled whenever he was with the ginger and she smiled to be with him. Ren thought for sure nothing would ever come in between the two. And for the first few months he was right. He could still remember asking her out. She hesitated for a minute before enveloping the raven haired man in a rather large bear hug. He smiled, everything seemed perfect.

Or at least that's what he thought. He sat nervously at a park on a bench waiting for Nora. He was planning on proposing to her. He fidgeted with the ring box in his coat pocket. Nora arrived a few minutes lat and sat next to him. She looked at him, "Hey Ren, listen I have to talk to you about something." Ren nodded, "I do too, you go first though." Nora nodded, "These past few months have been great really...but...I just don't see us going anywhere in the future, I'm sorry Ren but I think it's best if we see other people."

Ren's heart shattered at the words, he folded his hands, "Alright...that's fine...no really, I hope you find someone you really like." He said pasting a fake smile on his face, he got up, "I just remembered, I left the stove on in my apartment." Nora smiled as he left, "Alright Ren, I hope we can still be friends though." Ren nodded still fake smiling, "Of course Nora, we can always be friends."

He walked until Nora was out of sight and ran the rest of the way to his apartment and locked the door behind him, he collapsed on the couch and hugged a nearby pillow. It wasn't long before he started crying into it. Nora's words still cut deeply into him as he cried for his lost love and aching heart. Why Nora had chosen to keep up with the relationship for so long was beyond him and it made the break up that much more painful. He then began to wonder if he'd ever find love again.
