100 Things (Legit, 100 Things) Wrong with Smash Fanfiction

Before you freak out about me stealing Donut's work--

Yes, this was originally Donut's (Donuts3132) work. No, I did not steal it. Yes, I was given permission to repost this under my account. No, she is not coming back. Yes, the other book (100 things wrong with LOZ Fic) is coming. Yes, other books like this are gonna come. 

Yes, this thing finally has the other twenty sins you've been waiting for, as well as remastered some of the sins AND the cover. Rejoice. The new sins are mixed in there, though. You gotta look through it again. Sorry not sorry.

She's still not sure about letting me post the other books she had on her profile, though. If some of the books do come back (most likely Smashing Live, or maybe Elite Flora), they'll be under MAJOR editing, so hold onto your pants if they do come out. (Pretty baby is very embarrassed from those two stories, "I don't get how they were so popular, they're really me just being trash--") 

So, without further ado, here are one hundred things wrong with Super Smash Brother Fanfiction!

In General

1. Thinking process of most authors: "You know, I want popularity. And since I know Smash Bros, I'll do fanfiction on that!" Sorry. Wattpad doesn't work that way. If you want popularity, go to Facebook. Or Tumblr.

2. Not many authors bother to do research on the characters. Therefore, true nerds who read your fic will cringe so much it hurts. Especially if you don't know anything about Fire Emblem, StarFox, and F-Zero.

3. Nobody cares about Wario. Nobody.

4. OH MY GOD ROY OUR BOY'S BACK-- aaaaaaand no one cares. 

5. Tabuu's name is misspelled as "Taboo." Guys, that's a board game.

6. No, the smashers don't live in a community home, a jail, separate houses, or a Tomodachi hotel. No, it has to be a gigantic MANSION. 

7. 75% of all protagonists is a Legend of Zelda character. 23% are OCs. 2% is any other character. 0% is Luigi, Captain Falcon, and any other obscure/nobody-cares characters. 

8. Just a reminder: Game Theory just make theories. They are not solid fact. So that means that you can't correct someone with Game Theory's theories because, as they say, "It's just a theory. A GAME theory!"

9. Sheik is a girl. Sheik is a boy. We all know that authors switch Sheik's gender for convenience, so why do we have flame wars in the comments? 

10. The debate about Nana and Popo's relationship. Are they siblings? Are they engaged? Are they friends? We shall never know...

11. Robin and Lucina have some type of love-hate relationship. We shall never know why. 

12. The business of inviting other author's OCs: They only invite the famous ones, so you don't really get to meet any other authors. 

13. The disclaimers are all like, "OHMIGOSH SMASH ISN'T MINE BUT I WISH IT WAS." Or it's like, "YUP. SMASH IS MINE. *gets whacked upside the head* OKAY, MAYBE NOT."

14. The grammar. Oh my gosh, the grammar. Have at least a basic understanding of the English language, and then get an editor. Parents, friends, and siblings work great. 

15. Summaries are the most oddest part of Smash fics. Why? Because they're nonexistent.

16. Me when I see a fanfiction tagged Random: ...Why? ...Why? The One Direction fandom isn't that huge...
