"Sweet!" I say with my heart pounding. "I just caught my first pokemon! Come on out!" I yell, taking the tiny noibat out of its ball. "I'm going to call you Noitex, jut 'cause it sounds cool!" I tell my tiny little noibat. It screeches in happiness.
"So... Are you ready to be a champion?" I ask, pinching its chubby little cheeks.
"Back!" I tell Noitex, holding the pokeball up to its face. A read beam shoot at it, making it invisible, and back into the ball.
"Oh boy. I can't wait to tell Mother!"
By the time I got home, I figured that I was gone for at least an hour.
"Hey Mom!" I yell up to the second floor.
"What?" She yells back down.
"I have my own pokemon! And I'm off to go on a journey, and become the best!" I tell her, excitement in my voice
"Wait!" Mother yells. "I have a goodbye present!"
I hear thuds on the floor, as she runs down with a package.
"This is for you, Skyler! Uh.. I mean Sky!"
She hands me a box, containing a pair of running shoes, a change of clothes, and my best friend, well actually stuffed animal, Dearie!
I wasn't sad to leave home, but I wasn't the happiest either.
I walk out the door, and walk straight
into the fresh air.
"Farewell!" Mother yell to me from the door.
"Write me!"
"Sure..." I say, knowing I'm not going to.
Everything was in my purse. Noitex, my phone, makeup, and much other things, I rather keep personal.
"Bye! Mom!" I say waving my hands while running.
"See you!"
