*Ashley's Point of View*
The week went by quickly, and suddenly it was friday and I was sitting on my bed glaring at my closet. I wasn't sure what to wear. I began to look through it again. I wasn't a girly girl or anything, but still. Everyone wants to look nice for a date. I found some more black Jeans and decided those would look great with anything. Black t-shirt with paint splotches all over it? Obviously not. The paint splotches had gotten there when Ryan and I had a paint war and realized that the paint was permanent. He also has a black shirt with paint splotches on it. I saw a red layered top and grabbed it. I changed into the Jeans which had a few little sparkles on them, put it on, and curled the ends of my hair. Then I pulled it back into a ponytail and did some slight makeup. I looked at myself in the mirror. "Perfect." I said. I looked at the clock. 6:50. I decided to text Ryan.
Me: Hey I'm gonna leave soon. I'll show up around ten, or ten thirty? :)
a minute later he texted back.
Ryan: Great, but don't knock or ring the doorbell. Thing one an thing two will definitely be asleep.
You're SURE you want to go? You aren't interested in anybody else?
Me: Of course I'm going. It'll be great. Mary?
I've been guessing the girls in our class all week, and he still hasn't said yes. I had until Wednesday though, and I was going to make sure and get it right.
Ryan: Nope. You'll never guess Hehe. ;)
Me: I will someday. SOMEDAY.
Just then, the doorbell rang.
Ryan: Never!
Me: He just got here. Leave the door unlocked. Bye! :)
Ryan: Bye :-P
Put my black flats on, and went to the door. KATRINA WAS THERE TALKING TO HIM. "Okay Katrina goodbye tell my bye." I said shoving her out of the way and stepped outside. Alex looked great, and I don't think he even tried. Just plain Jeans and a white t-shirt with a leather jacket. We started down the stairs. "So what are we seeing?" I asked him. "The new horror movie, The Conjuring." He said. Ah crap that looked horrifying. "That looked horrifying." I said. It might be better to see it with somebody though. "We don't have to see a movie." He said looking me up and down again. We got to his car. "What else would we do?" I asked, hoping he was talking about another public event. Even I was smart enough not to go to somebody's house on the first date. "Well, just have some fun." He said winking at me. "The movie sounds great." I said. He had to know that I wasn't planning on doing anything like THAT. And we left for the nearest cinema.
