She was one of the greatest assassins. Her name was ___ ___. She was saved from death because of the redcoats at only the age of 10. Her brother, father and mother died in their house. Burnt alive. Achilles trained her under his wing and he loved her deeply, she was just like a daughter to him. The child he always dreamt of.
Connor was her friend. Her friend for nearly 10 years. He helped her get over her trauma when her family was gone. He helped her deeply. They both suffered but they both helped each other in forgetting the pain that caught with their souls and won't leave them alone.
*Present*She was watching outside her window. She watched as the rain poured silently with a soothing sound over the forest and the homestead. She was frustrated. Connor was on a mission again and it would take 2-3 weeks for him to return.
She worried deeply for him. He was her best friend after all. They helped each other trough hard times and cherished every beautiful moment they had together. They trained together, raised together. They were together trough it all. She loved him deeply.
Babe tell me whereWill you sleep tonight.
This mission was taking longer than she had ever imagined. She was so worried. She was frustrated. What if he was hurt? What if he failed his mission but what if he was...dead?She shook off those dark toughts and she knew that Connor would never fail his mission nor' be dead. Never.
She watched as the rain stopped silently and then a beautiful rainbow came trough the clouds and the sun lighting the beautiful forest and the homestead. Warming the drenched soil that had a beautiful earthy smell. It was refreshing. The rivers had a soothing sound of theirs. That was a fantasy she tought. The kind of landscape you could seek in a book. But no. It was real right before her eyes and she admired it like it would be the last.
For there's such a pain in my heartAnd I've got a flame
That's dying inside
And I feel that we'll soon have to part .
Aveline was always interfering between Connor and her. Always. She threatened her once more that if she would lay her dirty hands on Connor she would kill her. ___ wasn't afraid of her. She was a way better assassin than her. She always was frightened by the idea that she would steal Connor away from her. But she "loved" him only because of his looks. But she would never know what he went trough. Never.
___ had something Aveline would never have. ___ knew Connor for nearly 10 years. And Aveline? She knew him only for 6 months. And in 6 months all she did was take him away when ___ and him would have a pleasant conversation with the one she loved.
Connor would always tense when she would put her hands on his arm and drag him away. He didn't like when someone would hug him or touch him. Not in that dirty way but even so. He would always tense but he would give her a smile. That smile that only ___ had the chance to see.
___ saw on his face that when he would smile towards her it would be full of adoration for Aveline? That smile was only for ___ but she couldn't help it. She couldn't choose who Connor shall fall in love with. She didn't had that power. She didn't want to hurt him. Never. The guilt would wash over her like a cascade and what she built in nearly 10 years would be broken in just a few seconds.
When the Indians cryAnd the eagles die
'Cause the winds of change blow again.
Since she saw that the rain has stopped and the sun shone brightly she put on her deep crimson robes that had a tint of midnight blue at the edges and went for a peaceful walk to clear her mind that was full of concern towards Connor. Those beautiful Assassin robes embraced her form beautifully making her look like a princess from the books you would find for kids. She had a beautiful red sash around her waist and a huge assassin emblem that was made from platinum and was decorated with gold. She was proud of who she was now.
The walk trough the forest was amazing. The cold breeze that went past her and deep into the forest went trough the trees that would sing with the wind like a lullaby. The birds would chirp freely coming from their voyage since Spring came. The rivers and their soothing sound would always greet her walk. The silence was comfortable. It cleared her mind every time she wandered into this forest. It always did because she felt like the nature would greet her with her arms open widely only for her. And Connor of course. They were like the children of nature. She chuckled at that childish tought but she respected it deeply knowing that it was somewhat true.
Then I'll know that you
