This is to all the Sci-fi nerds, myself included, that wished to go to space and beyond.

The year is 2422 and the day is Friday, June 10th. The day everything would change for Gavin Ross.

Gavin slowly closed and locked his door behind him. He walked towards his car a sleek black vehicle that the company gives all of its employs. The vehicle was a company Tesla 5k Self driving car.

'Luen Co. really needs to update their vehicles.' Gavin thought, as he slid into the driver's seat. The leather was soft but stiff, unlike the newer luxury cars.

"Please take me to the Luen Corporation Main building on 10th and Vermont Lawrence Ks." Asked Gavin as politely and as specifically as he could.

"It would be my pleasure." Said the little hologram head that represented the AI driving the vehicle. The AI was one of the older models and it still had the flicker of light that would occasionally get redirected and not fit the structure of the hologram. This driver was a male with light blue eyes that reflected his slightly blue-tinted form. He looked about late 30's to early 40's and had a bit of what could be interpreted as gray hair mixed in with the black silk that made up his side parted hair.

After about an hour the self-driving car pulled into the driveway of the large office building. The lot was full of other cars of the same brand he rode here in. He slowly got out of the car taking in the view. Gavin then got out his keys to the building and made his way up to the imposing structure while jingling them, as he smelled the exhaust waft into the air. Gavin could feel the slight warming of the pavement beneath his feet as the sun started its rise to its zenith painting the sky in the warm colors of red and pink.

When he got to the large clear plastic door he unlocked it and walked onto the waiting marble tiles that made up the floor. The overhead light glistened off of the floor as it had just been washed that morning and the light itself was glowing fresh and bright. Gavin sauntered over to the elevator, humming a merry tune, only for the door to close right as he got there.

"Damn." He silently cursed. Gavin decided to wait it out so he waited, and continued to wait until the door dinged and opened up again. He walked in, turned around, and pressed the 5-button. With a small jolt the elevator went up. When the door opened again a couple of people walked into the elevator and Gavin got out.

Gavin then made his way over to his workplace. A small cubical with a Luen ComStat Mk 5 Tower tucked underneath his desk. On the desk was: a normal PC monitor, a rather large and imposing file-cabinet and a few other office supplies strung about. Gavin sat down into his swivel chair, cherishing the fact that he got to sit again. The chair itself had a leathery feel to it. To spice things up Gavin had set up pine scented air fresheners around his desk.

"Now let's see what we have to do today." Gavin said as he opened up his company email. He saw that the CEO of Luen Corporation had sent him a message. This was weird, as he only received orders from his building's boss. The email Gavin opened read:

39°55'07"N 117°37'42. 2"W

This made Gavin curious. Wanting to check out where the coördinates led Gavin got up, after logging out, and started to leave.

"Where do you think your going?" Asked a low gravely voice. Gavin turned to find his new boss.

"Just to go where the CEO told me." It was more of a question than a statement

"Oh really? And just where is that?" He asked again.

"I really don't know but Mr. Sánchez himself requested my presence there." Gavin answered, hoping beyond hope he would get to go.
