Best Friends or Love?

Ch.10 The Big Game <3

In the car driving to school.. with Lilly.

"Omg!" Lilly said. "My fave song is playing on the radio."

"Please don't start singing." I moaned.

 "Today is gonna be the day.." she started singing.

"No!" I yelled as we pulled up to the school.

"Omg." Lilly said. "Everyone's staring at you."

"Yeah today's the big day." I whispered.

"Oh yeah I forgot." she whispered back. As we walked in the whole football team was staring at me. Cody winked at me.

"What?" I yelled. Then they all stopped looking. Then Cody walked over.

"Today's the big day." he said.

"Oh yeah I forgot." I winked.

"Ha-ha." he said.

"I can't wait," he said. "Come with me."

"Sure." I said.

"So how we gonna do this?" he asked.

"I though long and slow.." I said.

"That's not what I ment." he laughed.

"Oh," I said. After we planned the bell rang.

"Oh the bell." I said.

"Yeah." he said.

"When is the game?" I asked.

"Today at lunch." he answered.

"Thats two blocks from now." I said.

"Yup." he said.

After the next two blocks it was The Game. 

"Omg," said Lilly. "You ready?"

"Not even close." I said.

"Aww." she said as we walked to the front of the bleahers.

"Oh they're getting ready to start."  Lilly said.

"Great." I said. "So we, ya know, at their first touch down."

"Wow." she said. "Pretty soon then."

"Yes." I said. "Yes it is."

"OMG!" Lilly sreamed. "Their first touch down."

Cody ran up to me, everyone held their breath as we leaned in.

Then he kissed me. Short and sweet. Everyone was cheering for us. 

"Wow," I said.

"Make out later?" he asked.

"Maybe." I said."It depends."

"On what?" he asked.

"I was kidding." I said.

"Okay." he said. Then he kissed me again.

"Love you," I said with out thinking.

"Yeah me too." he said.

"Wow," said Lilly. 

"Yeah I know." I said back.
