Kanan's POV
Ezra and I were outside training. I began to get frustrated at him. He never listens. Especially in training. He just doesn't understand that I want the best for him and will do anything to help him. But first he needs to learn to help himself.

"Ezra." I say getting impatient. "For the hundredth time today, when I say pick up the stone I mean pick it up with the force. Not your hands." I continued

"Well maybe if you weren't such a bad master, then maybe I would have listened the first time!" He yelled. I could tell he was getting frustrated.

I felt terrible. Heart broken. Devastated. He thinks I'm a bad master. He thinks I'm a bad master. I repeated in my mind. I didn't know what to do. But what I did next was nothing Ezra nor I ever thought I would do. I slapped him.

Ezra's POV
I hit the ground hard as I grabbed my stinging cheek. Tears begin to rise into my eyes as I realize what just happened. Kanan, the person I look up to the most out of anyone on the crew, slapped me. I look up at him and he's just staring at me. Face wide with fear.

"Ez... Ezra I... I don't know... I... I'm sorry... I didn't mean it..." Kanan says with fear in his voice. I get up from the ground and run. Run as fast as I can. To the safest place I could think of. My tower. The communications tower my parents used to broadcast from when I was a youngling.

"Ezra!!" I hear kanan yell. I keep running.
