Chapter 40: The Labrynth Part 3

Tom's POV

We all ran for our lives as the ground behind us fell apart.

"This like totally sucks," Pacifica cried.

"Shut up and keep running," Mabel replied.

"You know, none of this would've happened if it wasn't for you Tom," Star stated.

"And we're back to this again," I sighed.

"I mean, what were you even doing here?" Star said.

"What were you doing- oh wait you were here to fix your wand,"

"Yeah! To fix my wand, leave, and return to my normal life, but you had to come and mess everything up like you always do,"

"Oh please, even if I didn't come Bill still would've taken your wand," I argued, "Besides how was I supposed to know Bill was going to do that?"

"I don't know, maybe the fact that he was a history of betraying and manipulating people would've gave you a hint!"

"You know, I'm really not in the mood for arguing right now and-"

"Also, what if we do die huh? We'll die but you won't," Star snapped.

"True, but-"

"But nothing! I am tired of you constantly ruining everything, maybe if you thought about someone else for once, we wouldn't be in this situation!"

"What do you mean?! I did all of this for you!" I yelled.

"Wow, thanks. This is so romantic," Star said sarcastically.

"You know what Star? I have had it up to here with your arguing and-"

"Umm guys," Mabel interrupted.

"What?" Star and I snapped in unison as we stopped running.

"We don't have to run anymore, the ground stopped falling," Mabel said.

Star and I turned around to see the ground perfectly intact behind us.

Star sat down in exhaustion and took deep breaths.

I looked around. We were in a huge room with four hallways leading out from each side.

"Wait," Pacifica panted, "Are we in the same area we like started in?"

"W-what?" Star said was she walked around, "We can't be,"

"Clearly we can, because we are," I said frustrated.

"This can't be happening," Mabel panicked.

"Okay everyone calm down, we need to make a plan," I said.

"You mean, you need to make a plan," Star said.

"What do you mean?"

"You got us in this mess, so you are gonna get us out," Star said.

"You know, if you really think about it, it's your fault," I snapped.

"How?" Star replied.

"If you never would've broken up with me in the first place I wouldn't need to kill- I mean permanently get rid of- Marco,"

"I wouldn't have needed to if you weren't a crazy psychopath," Star said while storming towards me.

"Okay how about you stop diagnosing me with different mental issues and focus on the actual issue," I said, "You can't expect me to solve everything when we all had a part in this,"
