Flirting...?

This kiss is completely different from the one last night. Saeran's lips are so soft and he's being so gentle, like my lips are glass and he may break them if he pushes too hard. I don't want to kiss him harder than that, either, since he's inexperienced and I might scare him away or confuse him again. It's just a little peck, and he pulls away after a few seconds. Yet, in that small, short kiss, there was a hint of electricity. I've never felt that with another human before.

I smirk at him. "Oh, come on, you can do better than that. You're too scared. It's about displaying emotion. You shouldn't be worrying about being as light as a feather with them."

Saeran smirks back. "I see. So you want me to do it again, that's it?"

I blush. "No. I'm supposed to be helping you, remember?" Surprisingly, my voice comes out without any stuttering. Thank God for that.

"What, you're my kissing coach now?" He laughs.

I shrug. "Whatever. You asked for it."

I hear a notification noise, and before I can check to see if it's my phone, I see Saeran pull out his own and check his text messages. "It's my brother. He's waiting out front."

"It's been two hours already?"

"I guess. You know what they say, time flies."

"Do people still say that?" I give him a quizzical look.

"I don't know, and I'm too socially inept to find out."

"Damn right." We laugh.

"Let's not keep him waiting." Saeran kisses my cheek and stands, beginning to walk away.

I bring my hand to my cheek, fingers gently brushing where his lips touched.

I gather my things and get up, quickly making my way over to him to make up for the lost strides between us. I grab his wrist and he turns to face me. When he does, I stand on my tip-toes and plant a short kiss on his lips. I pull away smirking and sneak around to walk ahead of him.

Two can play...

"How'd it go?" Seven said through the open window, raising his eyebrows at me.

I roll my eyes. "For a school project, pretty well. We're basically finished."

"That's good. You hungry? It's past lunch time and I assume you didn't eat anything while in the library."

"Thanks but-"

Saeran nudges me in the side. I got the hint.

"Uh, I mean, sure."

"Subtle, little bro."

He scoffs. "I'm NOT your 'little bro', we're twins, dumbass. And I don't know what you mean by subtle."

Seven laughs. "If you say so. You two are adorable, by the way."

I glare at him. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"I can see the sparks flying from heeeere!" Luciel's singsong voice reaches my ears and I flinch, looking away.

"Well, then maybe your glasses need a stronger prescription."

"Fiesty, huh? I can get down with that." He winks.

Saeran steps closer to me. "Fuck off, Saeyoung."

Seven laughs again. "I'm just messing around, little bro. It's nice seeing you be so protective, though. Never thought I'd live to see the day. Take care of him, okay, (Y/n)?"
