The Boy Down the Street

I just moved into my new home today. School starts tomorrow and I must say I'm quite nervous!😁 Let me give some info about myself; My name is Emma Rose, I have very long brown hair with red highlights, my eyes are hazel and I'm 15 years old. I have 5 siblings, 2 older brothers(16+20), a little 2 year old sister, a 6 year old sis, and a 13 year old sis! Big family, ikr.

We started to unpack when I got a call from the school saying that there was a back-to-school dance. I really didn't want to go, but my mom basically forced me...

*arriving at dance*

Mom! I really don't wanna go! Please turn around. No, TURN AROUND! I'm not asking anymore! I don't wanna go!!

Mom: You're gonna be fine!

*at dance*

I walk in and see the cool girls in one area, the popular guys, and the other people all in desperate groups. At first I just stand there and look around, not knowing what to do. And then I saw this girl coming towards me, coming from the popular girls. She had long dirty,blonde hair, the greenest eyes you have EVER seen, she was a little short but really skinny with shape. Basically she was perfect! She started talking to me, telling me her name and who was over in the cluster of popular girls. I thought they had dared her to talk to me, I was expecting a slap, or a mean comment, or something.

But instead she walked me to the girls and introduced me. They were all going to the Creamery afterwards with the cool boys. They asked me if I would want to come, I quickly texted my mom and told her I was going somewhere after the dance.

Alyssa(the perfect girl) told me that Matthew Espinosa goes to our school. She said that we were going with him also. I think Matt is that guy from vine, looks a lot like JB. When we walk over I recognize him. At first all the boys just kept on talking until Alyssa spoke up. Then they all started looking at us, I whispered to Alyssa that we should just say hi. But she announced that I was the new girl and that Alyssa and I were already Bffs. I kinda just stood there awkwardly. I noticed Matt in the crowd of boys, I was memorized my his beautiful eyes. And he just kinda stared back, memorized too I guess.
