Mathew Maggio is the self-proclaimed smartest kid in school and has an ego the size of Texas. so after a day of destroying everyone in academic games, he was out flaunting around his grade he got on the last AP human geography exam with 75 questions, he got a 100%! This drove one particular student crazy as Mathew was always one tiny step ahead of him, he got a 99% on the exam! This occurred for many years but finally, the Mathew had crossed the line. one day he was especially loud as he was claiming he had found a way to change history! With only being in 9th grade this was a remarkable achievement. He said he would patent it and make millions off the idea, but the furious student had other ideas. So, one day when Mathew was not looking the student swiped the plans from Mathew, fully knowing he would most likely have each detail memorized the student then worked as fast as possible to create the machine. After days of sneaking off and making modifications it was ready, he could finally get his revenge. He set the date January 18th 2002, the day Mathew Maggio was born. he would go back and erase him from existence, ending his suffering. He went to the nursery in which Mathew was born, and pulled out the machines and watched as the nurses scrambled to save him, but they were too late. With the machine he traveled back to a world in which he was on top. the machine broke because it was Mathew was the person to invent it. To the student, this ruined everything, as Mathew was his driving force. Simply without him there everything was too simple, too boring. He made it his life goal to recreate the machine, but never achieved it as he eventually died and faded into time.
