Beyond The Gate Ch.2

Rackatas POV
As we walk we start to see the trees that lead to the gate
"I'm nervous Rackata.."
"Me too.."
"Let's get behind the trees..."
"Alright"
We both go behind the trees and slowly walk closer to the gate and we pick our trees to hide behind
And we wait
A few hours later
The gate finally opens and we stare at each other we start to freak out but in a good way
The guards go in there places and we find out ...there going to the middle of the trees but there backs were turned away from us
We are safe
No Ones POV
The gates open and the friends stare at each other  then look at the gate as a giant humanitarian comes out
(Giant shark fish) dead but only one soldier comes with it shaking in fear
"....oh..wow" Rackata whispers to Zerbampi
"...yeah...I know...." Zerbampi whispers back
The giant Humanitarian wiggles, the weapon the soldiers used didn't kill it all the way
"Hey!! What are you doing behind there!!!"
The kids look up to see the guard look at them with furious eyes
"W-we....were...um...we..." Zerbampi tried to make out words but was to scared
"We were just looking around to see were yapi was ..our pet Haxkapi"
The boy stared at his friend with a smile
"Yeah...he got loose and we ended up here while the gates were opening...that thing is huge!! And it's so cool!! I wish I could go out there!"
Zarbampi smiled at the guard and laughed a little
Rackata just nodded and said
"Yeah me too!!"
The guard just nodded his head and went to help the soldier
The two boys ran laughing and giving each other a high five
"I can't believe!! That hug thing was from the gate!!!!! I thought it was from the great River Omi!!"
"I know I can't wait to get home!!!!"
Zerbampi slowed to a stop
"Your not going to tell them?right?"
"I'm totally going to!!"
"You can't!! Your mother would kill you if you told her!!! No one is aloud to get near the gates!!!!"
"Why?"
"Because !! They don't want people to know what's out there!!! If any one knew they would be scared for their lives but since we're almost old enough to to be soldiers the guard was fine with it!!!"
He hissed at his friend for being stupid
"Oh..."
"Well let's keep going!! We have school tomorrow!!!"
"...darn I won't have a good nights rest..."
"Haha!! One hour I know it's a ripoff"
"But we get to see our other friends from the other side of the river !!! And that cute girl you like"
Rackata punch Zerbampi's arm playfully as his friends face gets coated with pink
"Psh...yeah right! She likes me instead...I don't want a girl friend!"
"Your terrible at fibbing"
Zerbampi puffed and pouted as Rackata teased him
"Well you have a crush on your own friend!!! She's your second bestie!"
Rackata stopped and pouted
"No I don't!!!! Grr!!! Let's just go home"
The two boys were both blushing after that talk
"...so...um don't tell your parents ok?"
"Fine..."
When the friends leave the path of the gates they wave goodbye and went to there hut to play with there family
At Rackata's hut
"Mom!! I'm back!!"
"Hello Racka!!! did you have fun?"
"I didn't have fun....."
"...why?"
"IT WAS AMAZING!!!!"
"That's good!!"
"Yeah!!"
"Hey um.. Racka ?you still need to feed Swipeds"
"Oh yeah forgot about him"
Rackata's mother huffed at his answer
"He's your pet!! And I know that you would never forget him !! You love him to death!!"
"Haha!! I know I know"
His mother giggled and walked over to him and ruffled up his brown hair
"And it's almost time for bed! You need that one hour of sleep!! You need to to go to school tomorrow"
"I know..."
Rackata walk over to the exit of the hut and there he saw his pet Tiboce name Swipeds
Which means 'Cat Monster'
Swimming in his home
And once Swiped sees his owner the thing jumps out and pounces on his owner and purrs a deep growl
Rackata rubbed Swipeds ears then his fins on his back then he fed the monster and sent the Tiboce to bed
Rackata walked back into hut and said good night to his grandmama and his mother
And went to bed..
Dream
Rackata walked around a strange forest...one no one had ever seen!!!!
Different types of monsters but there was one staring at him
Black eyes and it had large wings on each side of his body
The creature blew smoke at him
And now scared...the boy ran as fast as he could but the creature took its first step and was already catching up
...quickly....
End of dream
Rackata woke and jolted up covered in sweat
"...nightmare..maybe because of school...."
