*Louis' POV*

Kayla was finally getting better now. Her fever was dying down and she wasn't puking as much, which is a huge relief. I hated seeing her like this.

We have a concert tomorrow, and the lads and I are all really hoping that she would come. It's not like that it is like an extra special concert, (although every concert was very special to us,) but we were just hoping that we could convince her to come to one soon.

So far, she hasn't been leaving the bus, but it's not like I can blame her. The fans and paps can be a bit overwhelming, but I still want her to join us. She just hasn't really seemed to give it too much thought to weather she would like to come with us to one of our shows or signings.

"Where are we going today, lads?" Harry asked, sitting beside me on the couch. I shrugged and looked at the rest of the boys.

"Well, likes it or not, Kayla needs clothes. I'm planning to take her shopping to grab some stuff," Liam said.

"Wait, Liam, I thought you were going out with Sofia today?" Niall asked. Liam shrugged.

"I would, but Kayla really needs clothes. I guess that Sofia can come if she want to. I'll probably go ask her," he said.

"Li, don't you think that that would make Kayla feel...awkward? Like, she's never met Sophia, so she'd probably be really awkward and out of place, don't ya think?" Niall said. I nodded in agreement. Liam just sighed and rubbed his forehead.

"You're right...I guess I'll just meet up with Sofia another time."

"No!" I said loudly, causing the lads to all look at me. "I mean...no, don't cancel your day with Sofia! You see her like, once every few months! Why would you cancel that when you could easily have one of the lads or myself take her shopping?" I asked. The lads all smirked at me as Liam laughed.

"Okay, I guess you have a point. Would you mind taking her shopping today?" he asked me. I shook my head quickly. "Alright, then I guess I'll see you guys after I get back."

As he went to go get dressed, my phone started ringing. I sighed and looked at the caller I.D. Management.

*Zayn's POV*

Louis picked up his phone, answering it with his politest little "Louis Tomlinson speaking," letting me know it was management. They talked for a bit, Louis' face growing in anger a bit every once in a while while he spoke and tried to protest to something the other person on the line was saying.

"I can't today!...Well, yes but...No! I have something planned!...I don't know...Can't I just come in tomorrow?...But!...Fine. Whatever."

Louis hung up the phone and threw it beside him, a ticked off look of his face. He was mumbling under his breath things like 'f*#!ng management.' 'controlling' 'don't wanna go in,' and a bunch of jiberish.

"What's up, Lou?" I asked him. He sighed and rubbed his face.

"I need to go speak with management about some stuff. Today. I tried to get out of it, but only Simon and Paul know about Kayla, so I couldn't say anything."

"Well...Perrie is on tour right now as well, so I don't have anything planned. Do you want me to take Kayla shopping for you?" I asked him. He looked to be thinking it over for a minute before sighing and nodding.

"Yeah, I suppose. She does need some clothes." He shot me a smile. "Thanks Zayn."

"No problem, mate."

*2 Hours Later*

"Ready to go?" I asked Kayla as she walked out of the bathroom. she nodded, nervously pulling at the sleeves of her shirt, which happened to be one of Niall's, seeing as she didn't have many and he wore the smallest size of all of us. "Well, let's go."

I knew I wasn't as close to Kayla as she was to the other boys, so I was actually looking forward to taking her shopping. Perhaps she can learn to trust me some more.

Louis followed us out to he car, where he smiled at me and pulled Kayla into a tight hug. She wrapped her arms around his waist as he kissed her hairline, making them both smile. But, me being me, decided to be mean and ruin it.

"Alright, alright! She's not going off to war, Lou, we're just going shopping. Relax!" I laughed. Louis just rolled his eyes and smacked my arm, making Kayla stiffen up. Both Louis and I noticed, instantly stopping our actions.

"Kayla, love, I was just kidding. I didn't hurt him, I promise," Louis said.

She just stood there, looking at my arm where Lou had hit me. She looked down at her own arm, at the fading bruises that covered them. She slowly came up to me, running her fingers over where he hit me, then over her own. Her eyes were filled with wonder as she slowly took out her notepad.

'It didn't hurt you?'

"No, love, it didn't. He was just joking around." What she wrote next broke my heart.

'How did it not hurt you? Every time that father touched me it hurt.'
