Jack's Point of View:

I sighed as there was a knock on the door, Anti still talking to (Y/N). Standing, I strode over, and opened it. I froze, staring.

Dark looked down at his shoes sheepishly, running a hand through his hair. "Hey. Uhm. I-I... uh..."

I blinked.

"I may have... left the pipsqueak somewhere... and I, uh... can't find her."

Oh my god. Oh. My. God.

Leaning back towards the hall, but keeping my eyes on Dark, I called out, "Anti! Uh... C'mere. It's important."

A few seconds passed before Anti strode out, holding a sniffing (Y/N) close.

Dark blinked, then brightened as he saw her. "Oh, thank Hell. I thought I was gonna die-!"

"What makes you think you aren't going to?" Anti growled, his hands slowly turning black.

Dark paled, and winced. "U-uh... Well.."

"I forgive you, Dark."

We all turned to look at (Y/N), who was leaning against Anti's shoulder, staring at the wall behind him. She bit at the corner of her thumb, staring absently.

I turned back to Dark, and was surprised to see him still looking frightened. This was the first time I'd ever seen him like this, and was genuinely surprised. Usually, Dark was an intimidating, brooding guy who didn't take any shit from anyone, especially Anti and I. I shivered, remembering the last time he stopped by for a visit.

"Well," Dark coughed. "It was nice seeing you two, and nice meeting you, (Y/N). Uh. Sorry... Bye," he spun on his heel, then strode off, murmuring and shaking his head.

"Hey, Dark," Anti called.

He stopped, and looked back.

"Could you please take care of Google for me? I'm getting tired of dealing with Sam."

Dark looked away, and his face started to screw up in disgust. I could tell that he wanted to say no, but he nodded. "Yeah. Sure, whatever you want."

And with that, he strode away.

Dark's Point of View:

I arrived at the safe house, and parked my car at the curb. I sat back in my seat before even thinking about turning the car off. 95% of me wanted to say screw it, and fucking leave, but I told Anti I would... and I guess I kinda owe him for losing his daughter.

Scowling, I shut the car off, then stepped out. It was warm out, the sun starting to set. I strode to the door, and knocked before pulling the keys out of my pocket. I unlocked, then opened the door, closing it behind me.

"Hello?"

The house was dark, and the basement door slightly open. No noises came from inside. It was almost creepy, but I shrugged it off, along with my jacket.

"Hey! Sam! Anti told me you needed help with Google!"

Nothing.

I scowled, going over and closing the basement door. "Sam! I'm not in the fucking mood!"

My footsteps were loud as I searched the house, stepping with growing panic. "Sam?"

I stopped at the last room in the house, and stared at it, feeling... Feeling a sudden dread in my stomach. I could smell the metallic scent of blood, old, yet strong in my nose. Reaching out, I slowly opened the door.

What met me inside made me want to run.

Google stood over Sam, his chest ripped open, and organs spilled out, surround the area around him. Google was grinning, his arms covered in dried blood. He twitched, glancing back at me. I took one step back, and that was all he needed. Google spun, lunging, arms outstretched, purple veins through his brown irises. Cursing, I spun, and pushed myself away. I felt his fingers brush my arm, and I burst into ash and shadow, racing to the living room.

I reached for the door, then stopped. I couldn't let him leave. He'd kill everyone! Spinning to face the hallway, I grunted as he tackled me to the ground. I burst into ash again, and appeared behind him. He lashed out behind him, swinging his hand around. He grabbed my shirt and ripped it, but I stomped down on his back. With a swift movement, he threw me off. I yelped, then shadowed again to land on my feet in the kitchen. Barely sidestepping an attack, Google swung his hand down, and broke the kitchen table with a loud cracking sound.

Grabbing his arm, I sent a wave of shadow into his skin, but it didn't do anything but darken it. I cursed, only then remembering he was a cyborg. Fucking stupid, Dark!

I cried out, Google kicking me back. I landed on the floor, the air rushing out of me. Before I could do anything, Google grabbed my neck, and pulled me up. I gasped for air, clawing at his hand. My mind panicked, and I couldn't calm myself down enough to shadow away. He watched me, studied me. His almost curious, yet blank gaze caught me off guard.

No! No!

I saw the edges of my vision start to fade to darkness, my lungs burning, my pulse beating loudly in my head. I struggled, my legs kicking, hands clawing at his hand and arm. He didn't flinch. Didn't move.

I gurgled, feeling the weakness start to take affect, the darkness growing, and my feet starting to disintegrate into ash. I gagged, head tilting up, and hands falling to my sides limply. My body twitched, the ash starting to move up, piling onto the floor.

God, please... No.

...no...
