Jake's POV

Ok!!! First things first! My name is Jake Laws and I'm a freshman at Hollywood High. I like to read and study and I'm the top of each of my classes. Well...in other words I'm a nerd. I have loving parents and brother his name is Bryce. I have friends. I mean friend actually best friend! Her name is Alice. She's a nerd like me BUT we have this secret which I will tell you anyway. We train martial arts but no one in our family knew about it. It's just our common hobby that we love to do.  Anywayssss...
*alarm goes off* It's Monday morning. Yay! School day! Urghhhh. *note the sarcasm*
I love school don't get me wrong. That's why I'm a nerd. Go figure! I just don't like the people except my brother and best friend and the school staff. Basically, just the students.
I got up from my bed more like dragging myself out in cloud nine which is my bed. I went to the bathroom and shower. Once I'm done and ready, I went downstairs to the kitchen. When I got there my brother and dad's sitting in the bar stool while my mom's finishing making breakfast. "Hi! Good morning everyone! What's cooking mom?" I said as I enter the kitchen. "French toast,  pancakes, waffles, and bacon. Come and sit now sweet heart or you'll be late for school" mom said. I kissed my mom on the cheeks and said, "Thanks for making my favorite French toast mom.you're the best." "Hi dad and bro good morning" I greet them while giving both kisses on on the cheeks then went and kissed my brother's and dad's cheeks and sit on my spot. After we enjoyed our breakfast while happily chatting with each other, I heard my brother screaming by the door. "Cmon Jake! Let's go! I don't want to be late and Mary is waiting for me to pick her up too!" I just groaned. We then picked up Barbie #2 I mean Mary. After she got in the car, she kissed my brother or should I say they ate each other's mouth. I just rolled my eyes and greet her just for my brother's sake. "Hi Mary." Then she said, "Hi jake" with her fake sweet voice and fake smile.

In school. I went inside before them and wave my brother goodbye. Then my brother said, "Jake I won't be able to go home with you. I have a date with Mary after school so just ask mom or dad to pick you up." I told him "OK. Thanks for letting me know ahead of time. " then I ran to my locker to get my books for first and second class. After gathering my things while walking and not paying attention, I bump into a wall and my books fell. I said with frustration, "Gosh when did they built a wall here?!" "Damn then I must be a goddamn good looking wall and you're a clumsy girl." I asked myself, when did a wall started talking?  What the fuck?!

"Wow and the nerd can curse?! Amazing!" Then I hear a chuckle and that's when I looked up and saw  those green eyes that I love to stare    from afar looking directly at me! Grayson! Oh shit! He's bad news and the bad boy of the school. "I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention." I said. Then I picked up my books quickly and then I ran. Like literally ran for my life. I hear him calling for me but I kept running. I wouldn't want to mess with him or his sister mary and her best friend, Tyra if I still want to live and have a peaceful life for that matter.

Class went by quick. Finally lunch break!!! My favorite time of the day. I went to get food and went to my usual table to sit with my best friend and one and only friend, Hailey. We've been friends since elementary school. She's not a nerd like me. She's so pretty and can pass to be with the popular squad. I don't even know why she's friend with me. A nerd like me! But I'm glad she's my best friend. I sat down and greet her. "Hi Hail! I miss you!!!" I said. "Jakeyyy!!! I miss you too! Can you believe we're high school now?!" She said while giving me a bone crushing bear hug. "Urghhh Hail. Can't breath!" I said then she let go and looked at me with a grin and said, "Oops sorry Jakey I just really missed you and excited. I hope it will be a great 4 years of high school for us." "I hope so too Hail. I hope so too." I said while thinking of the event that happened in the morning when I bump with Grayson. Then I hear Hailey said and groaned. "Here comes the devil's minions!" I looked up and saw Tyra and Mary by the cafeteria door walking towards the popular table where Grayson and my brother sits. I know I know. My brother is one of the popular boys and very best friend of Grayson. Shocking right?! Well he got the looks so why not? Well if you're wondering,  Bryce is my twin so we don't look that different. I just like my glasses and comfy clothes more and I hate attentions so I don't flaunt my looks. While looking at their table I got caught by Grayson looking at them and he smirked. He smirked! I looked back down to my food and continued eating. The nerve of that guy! Yes, I have a crush on him since I was elementary but I don't like his attitudes. His arrogant, play boy, bad boy, and people fear him since he has the money to ruin other people. So it is better to stay away and avoid them like a plaque for my safety. "Jakey they're coming!" My best friend whispered and I asked her, "who is comi-" I got cut off when I felt a cold liquid on the side of my face. Then I saw Mary and then Tyra with a box of open milk in her hand. "Oh no! I tripped and my milk spilled on you." She said while smirking and with a humour in her eyes and I can tell she's trying not to laugh so Grayson and Bryce will look at it as accident. I l, for myself, knew it wasn't an accident. She did it in purpose! I suddenly got up and ran. I'm trying best to contain my anger. I ran to my locker and got my spare clothes. Good thing I bring spares just for emergency like this. I went back to class and it went by fast. I was about to go to Bryce but then I remember he said he's not gonna bring me home. I'm in front of the school now while trying to call my mom or dad to have them pick me up. Both of them said they won't be able to pick me up due to work and told me to take a cab. Of course! They are both lawyers that works with Lowes' firm. Yes, they work for Grayson and Mary's parents. That's why they're always busy.

I decided to just walk home since our house isn't that far from here. More like 30-45 minutes walk. I actually like walking home. It gives me time for myself to contemplate on things and I could drop by the park on the way. I stayed for a couple of hours at the park reading my book. Then suddenly I felt a pair of eyes watching me. I looked around and saw couple people playing or running but none was looking at me. I looked at my watch and realize it's almost 6 pm! So I went home.

I got home and no one is home yet. I went to the kitchen and ate some leftovers from the fridge then went to my room and showered. After showering, I laid on my bed. I like sleeping with my panties only. The best feeling! I fell asleep.
