They arrive at James' house at about noon. Skye couldn't tell with all of the pollution swirling around her

. She knows humans like James couldn't see it clearly but she also knows that they know it existed and yet they do nothing about it. Humans disgust her.

She sneaks glance after glance at James, but he doesn't seem to notice her trailing behind him, dazed by how cute she thinks he is. Jeremy sticks his tongue out and snarls low under his breath.

"This is it. It isn't much but it will be good enough for you to stay a few nights," James says, glancing up at the narrow building ahead of them.

In Jeremy's opinion it looks horrible. Maybe like a haunted house that Mortals apparently visit just for the fun of getting scared. Its shutters are cracked and on the brink of falling on a random citizen. The door is almost off of its hinges and there is scratches all over it. The steps creak as they step up them. And worst of all, the windows cracked right through his reflection.

He gulps and catches up to Skye, staying near her like a scared little troll. She laughs right in his face, a small beautiful laugh but evil nonetheless, "Are you scared?"

"No!" Jeremy glowers at her, but unable to stay angry for long, let's his anger dissipate. "I just thought maybe you were! Like that time in Fay Bay-"

James stops turning around, "What is Fay Bay?" He asks, maybe a little too curiously. Jeremy eyes him a little suspiciously.

"Our hometown. It is a bay." Skye says, lighthearted. Her locks, bounce as she jumps further on, "this is fun!" She giggles, echoing.

"Right. A bay." James looks over at Jeremy. "Is she...taken?"

"Taken?"

"Yeah you know, dating someone?"

Jeremy groans, "no. Not yet,"

James brightens," you mean, she is going to go out with me?"

"No. Me." Jeremy snaps before briskly walking forward.

James rolls his eyes. "As if hot shot. I am good for her and you have no idea how she is worth!"

Jeremy silently snickers, I doubt it stupid. He thought."Yeah right," he says aloud and James sends a glare in his direction.

"She probably thinks of you as a-" James starts, but Skye's voice cuts him off.

"C'mon boys, I want to get checked into my room!"
