A young woman of average height closed the door on the giggling teens and she sighed throwing her backpack down and moving towards the fridge, she shuddered as she grabbed food her stomach gurgling. She began to eat the food as her mother walked in and smiled at her lovely daughter and left the room. The girl stood tossing the food away and entered the bathroom she locked the door and pressed her fingers against the back of her throat willing herself to throw up into the toilet all of the contents of her measly snack.
A young man sat atop the wall his laptop out on his lap as he played video games a group of teenagers walked by calling him nerd and freak. He frowned at them and sneered. He packed up his bag and tossed it over his shoulder and began to skate away his thoughts turning towards wringing those bullies’ necks for the death of his best friend and now beginning to tease him. He stormed into his house where his father sat reading the paper. His father looked behind him to watch his young son storm upstairs and into his room where he typically locks himself in. The father frowned and looked at his wife as she winced at the slamming door.
Another young woman but of shorter height than the first walked down the street listening to the music playing on her Ipod, her ice skates over one of her shoulders and she carried her bag in the other hand, she passed the group of teenagers and she quickly ducked down hoping to avoid them but only for them to notice and giggle. ‘Here comes the emo!’ they chanted cruelly and the young woman charged past and back to her house where she locked herself in her bedroom and picked up the pair of scissors located on her desk and opened them, she rolled down her sleeve of her sweatshirt and frowned at the scars before cutting another laceration in her porcelain skin.
A young man watched the group of teenagers torment the three teens that were his neighbors, he was just an average male, he played baseball when it was in season and mostly kept to himself. He sighed and walked past ignoring the cliques jeers at him as he walked past holding the Bible firmly in one hand along with his other books that didn’t fit in his bag. He frowned at them and walked back to his house. He opened the door and turned around glancing at where his three other bullied friends lived and smiled.
“I’m going to change your lives.” He whispered determined and moved inside the house shutting the door revealing his four young siblings and tired single mother.
