"I rather kiss the hairs on your father's ass than to ever call that man a Forrester," I blurted out in disgust during me and  Maya's no longer quiet breakfast. Maya looked at me in shock at my abrupt outburst as she helped herself to Mom's famous Logan iced tea.

"You're talking about Ridge again?" She asked and I nodded. "What did he do this time babe?"

"What did he do this time?" I repeated. "More like what didn't he do." I was so upset. So angry that I barely ate my slice of Rhubarb pie and you know, like Mom, I loved Rhubarb pie. "He's a clown  Maya. A big stupid clown who plays these sick twisted games with people and ends up hurting them in the end."

Maya looked at me as her big beautiful eyes widened in shock. Did she really think that Ridge was a good person? I hoped she didn't. When he kicked us out of our Forrester home she should have seen him for the cruel brute that he is.

"Okay slow down and relax yourself babe," She said trying to calm me down. "I know you don't like Ridge, and I don't really either, but what is making you say all this? You hardly talk to him so I don't see-"

"Mom told me that he was planning to divorce  Caroline," I interrupted. The more I thought of him divorcing that poor girl who really loved him the more pissed I became. "For what reason? Only that pompous ole fart knows."

"What? Really?" I nodded. "Oh my God! What a beast." Beast  was a bit too good to describe him, then again every word in the book was too good for Ridge. "Seems the more things you tell me about him the more terrible I realize he really is."

"Yea," I said, "it's too bad though that Mom doesn't see him for the slime ball that he truly is." After he broke her heart so many times in the past, I wanted to know why she still talked to that thing. Was it because she knew him so well to the point that she was use to his bull shit? Or maybe because this was a soap opera and people had a tendency of forgiven any ole creature across the street.

"Maybe to her he doesn't seem like a slime ball," Maya answered. Maybe to Mom Ridge doesn't seem like a slime ball? That's like saying the sky is hot pink! "As much as you probably hate to hear this hun, your mom may still love him." She better not or else I'll kick her out of her own home. "After all he is a Forrester," Maya continued, "and if I must say so, from experience, you Forrester men are hard to resist."

I looked up at Maya as a small smile appeared on my face. It was true. Me, Zende, Dad, RJ and even red lipped ole Thomas had charm and beautiful women at our feet. Ridge however wasn't a Forrester but rather a Marone which explained his ugliness. The sad thing though was he had Mom, Caroline and other pretty foolish women gawking after him and it baffled me.

I slid my hand on top of Maya's and looked into her eyes. "You, my dear, chose the best Forrester to be your husband." And I vowed that I would be the best  husband to Maya and the best  father to our beautiful daughter Lizzy.

"Even though he's a bit aggressive and competitive?" Maya asked and I nodded proudly. Dad always told me that in order to be a good business man one had to be assertive. "No thanks. I am starting to think that I should have married Ridge instead."

I frowned as Maya began to laugh, giving me the hint that she was only joking. Cute she was... but no!

"Not funny," I told her and I almost could feel myself laughing along with her.

"I'm only teasing you hun," She said lightly as she kissed me on my cheek.

"Tease  me not," I said dully. Maya smiled at me as she took a sip of Mom's delicious iced tea. She was so lovely to the point that it was very hard to get mad at her.
