Audrey's POV
Today's the day. The 100 year anniversary of Lakewood is just a few days away, and i'm asking Jade to be my girlfriend in less than an hour. Our school is having a dance to celebrate the anniversary and me and Noah were up all night making a poster
One asking if she would come to the dance with me, I also got her a bracelet that has the date on it: for when I ask her out. It is now time for me to get ready, I put on my black tank top and black leather jacket with my black ripped jeans and combat boots. Lets do this.
Jades POV
Audrey is on her way over to pick me up so we can go record shopping and then out to lunch. Caleb bursts through the door, "Your girlfriends here." I scoff, "Shes not my girlfriend" he chuckles to himself and says, "Whatever you say" I run downstairs looking at each step. Until I look up and stop halfway down the steps. Audrey is standing there with big dumb smile on her face and a sign that says, " I know we live in murderville but im dying for you to come the Lakewood Days Dance with me." I look up at her then back at the sign and run and jump in her arms. "Yes"
She looks back up at me and says, "One more thing," she pauses grabs a ring pop out of her pocket gets on one knee and says, "Will you be my girlfriend" I start to tear up and then I look back up at her, "Of course." I hug her for what seems like forever and then she pulls out a gold bracelet that says 10/21/16. I start to cry and hug her. Caleb peeks around the corner and says "I told you so" I turn and push him out the door and Audrey bends over motioning for me to get on her back and we go outside and get in her car and head to the record store; hand in hand the whole drive.
We look through the records and Audrey buys me 2 without me even noticing. 'Future Hearts' by All Time Low and ' I think you think too much of me' by EDEN. We leave the record store and make our way to the resturaunt and we get a table outside sitting across from each other. After we order our food I edit and post a picture that Caleb took of Audrey giving me the ring pop. I caption it, ' 10/21/16'. I continue scrolling instagram when I notice Audrey looking at me with a grin on her face. " What are you looking at?" she laughs and says "You, You're beautiful" I laugh and say "Stop." she replys, "I'm serious, im very lucky to have you. " I grab her hand from across the table and as if on que I get a text from 'Unknown', 'Audrey huh? You can do better, but remember. You ARE in murderville.' Audrey seems pissed but she said she'd talk to Noah later; he knows anything and everything about this town. We eat our food and she takes me home. I offer for her to spend the night and have a movie night she agrees. God. Audrey Jensen is the love of my life.
