Frodo P.O.V

We've been this damned journey for what seems like eternity. The retched, yet precious ring hanging heavily upon my skin from the silver chain bestowed upon my pale neck. The days seem to be growing slowly darker, the ring heavier each passing day. During the beginning of this adventure it started off with Gandalf the wizard, Aragorn or other known as strider the human, Legolas an elvish prince warrior, Gimli the warrior dwarf, Pippin and Merry who came along the Shire who are Hobbits like Sam and I, and Boromir...Plenty has happened since we left the Shire, Boromir was killed when he tried to to steal the ring from me after taking an oath to protect me, he tried to kill me....Each day is getting harder for me, feels as if the ring is sucking the life out of me and that's perhaps true....But anyway, that was some time ago, now Sam and I have been lost and going in circles for a while. As we stop to rest I let out a wince as I sit down, licking my dry, slightly cracked lips. Sam looks over in concern. "Something wrong Mr.Frodo?" He asks. I reply with, "No, I'm fine Sam." He gives me a disbelieving look, his eyes narrowing, swimming for answers; showing his confusion and honest concern. I heave out a soft sigh causing him to narrow those beautiful brown eyes-(well I think they're brown...not sure, anyway continue) No! Bad Frodo! You shouldn't feel these things, these feelings! He's your friend! As I shake my head to rid those ungodly thoughts, I feel Sam's eyes boring into my skull, searching for answers. Before he could try to interrogate me further, I suggest settling down for the night, he looks like he wants to persist but let's the matter drop for now.
