Boys born 3 months apart

Many years ago there were 2 boy who were born three months apart.

As toddlers they played as their parents were friends,

Spending their time like most boys do.

Many adventures near and far, Bumps and scrapes even before cars.

High school came and they went to different schools yet,

The boys born three months apart friendship still grew.

Time together was amazing, their bond and loyalty to each other almost crazy.

Then came cars a passion they shared many adventures some not to be named,

No longer boys but men born three months apart.

With adulthood came jobs, responsibility too.

Through times of good and times of bad.

Their bond stayed strong , each others backs they had.

Then one of the men born 3 months apart was a dad,

yet still time and fun was still to be had.

Fast forward seven years later when the men born 3 months apart,

told each other of their children due like them 3 months apart.

First one little boy and then another,

Like their dads born 3 months apart.

Like their dads they grew up as friends,

though sadly their journey had to end.

Heaven took one of the boys born 3 months apart,

leaving behind memories and photos and stories we can tell.

Have to watch a life that was supposed to mirror their lives,
