A/N Hello, My friend wanted me to write a Johnlock fanfiction so this is my attempt. Is a one shot for now but I may add to it. Hope you enjoy :D

Three years, three long miserable years since Sherlock had jumped from the roof of St Barts hospital. Three years since John had felt happy. Today however was different, today John would be joining Sherlock.

John loved Sherlock, had done since he first met him and knew he could no longer survive without him. Everything now came down to this day, he had been planning it for awhile. The three year anniversary of when Sherlock jumped.

John had awoken early to make sure he would be able to complete everything he wanted to do before he left this lonely world. His first stop was the most important: he was going to Sherlocks grave to tell the truth about his feelings and that they would soon be together again. At seven on the dot the cab pulled up outside the cemetary where Sherlock was buried and John prepared himself for what was to come.

The flowers that John had left the day before were already gone, they never stayed even though most other graves were never touched. It had given John hope to begin with but now his hope had run dry and he felt completely alone. He placed a new flower on the grave and tidied the leaves off before taking a seat.

"Sherlock, I wish that you were still alive. I miss you, you were my eveything and it took losing you for me to see it. I love you." John sighed as he stared at the rock which was all that was left of his friend. "I won't be leaving here today, I'm coming to join you now."

Shakily his hand pulled out his gun from his coat.

"Funny, I used this gun to save you on our first case together now I'm using it to bring me to you." John almost laughed but the situation was not right for laughter, not that John had laughed in a long time. He hadn't laughed since Sherlock left him. Someone was behind him and John could sense it, slowly he turned around and saw the curly black hair he had missed so much.

"You're dead, this must be a hallucination." JOhn sighedl a tear making its way down his cheek.

"John, I'm real. I'm alive. Please don't do this." Sherlocks voice was the same as John remembered it.

"How?" John asked disbelieving what his eyes were telling him.

"I had help, Please put the gun down." Sherlock almost begged. His voice seemed slightly raw as if he were likely to cry.

"This isn't real." John sighed moving the gun up to his temple.

In two strides Sherlock had made his way to John and crouched down next to him.

"Could a hallucination do this?" Sherlock asked as he gently placed his hand on John's cheek.

"No," John whimpered.

"What about this?" Sherlock asked as he leaned in and touched his lips gently to his friends.

John shook his head, the gun lowering slowly.

"It's me John, I'm back and I'm never leaving again." Sherlock said looking into John's eyes.

"Promise?" John asked sounding almost childish.

"I promise." Sherlock smiled as John dropped the gun. "Come on, lets get you back to Baker street."

With that the two men walked home hand in hand knowing neither of them would be alone ever again.
