"Come on Jazz. Let me read over your new song!" Luke hopelessly whined.
I quietly chuckled to myself as he pouted. Luke was such a dork, and I couldn't help but always give in to him.
"Fine." I huffed, playfully rolling my eyes. He smirked as I handed him the crumpled up binder paper; written on it were some of my horrible song lyrics. I can't believe I let him read it. Why do I have to be stupid?
I looked over at his expression, he wouldn't stop smiling as he read the whole thing. Every then and there he would bounce his head seeming as if he found a tune for the lyrics.
He suddenly burst out laughing, my mouth was left agape. I couldn't believe he did that.
"Luke!" I shouted, grabbing the paper from his hands. I was frowning, and he could tell I was angry with him.
"I'm just kidding. This song really does have meaning behind it. I promise!" I looked over at him, his eyes were a pleading kind of happy. He knew I wasn't that angry.
"Prove it." I smirked, knowing he couldn't do anything to make my song better.
"Pick you up if you fall to pieces, let me be the one to save you!" Luke sang with a little wink at the end. I laughed and shook my head.
"That was horrible!" I shouted with laughter, jokingly of course. Luke's mouth was open wide, and I couldn't help but laugh even harder.
I looked back over to him and he looked hurt. I knew he always wanted to be a singer, but I was just joking.
"Luke, I-I'm really sorry. I never meant to hurt you." I said sincerely. Luke grinned, and couldn't help but laugh.
"I got you good!" He shouted.
"Shut up." I said, playfully smacking his arm.
If only he was still here with me.
