Madeline's heart stopped. That voice was chillingly familiar. The man, who had his hand over her mouth, chuckled darkly.

"You think you can have your little boyfriend get rid of me? I may only be human, but I am powerful too. I help run this place, and in no way am I letting some new little bitch take that away from me. I'll just report to Governor Biersack about all of this, and trust me, he won't be happy."

Madeline stayed still. Jay was ten times her strength, and if she moved, she was afraid he'd break her neck.

"I created a little diversion for everyone, so Andy won't be able to help you this time, cupcake. People will die tonight, Madeline, and it'll be all your fault for not letting things go the easy way the first time." With that, Jay pulled Madeline out into the hallway making sure no one saw him. He dragged her along and walked up a flight of stairs, heading for his room again.

"Because of your boyfriend, my room is in pieces now, so we'll just have to find somewhere else to put you." He pulled her inside his room and into the bedroom. There, a giant vault was open, the size of a small walk-in closet. "You can stay here. Sound proof and telepathic proof," he grinned at Madeline from ear to ear.

"What do you want with me?!" Madeline yelled, struggling.

"I told you before what I wanted from you, and after I'm done with you, I'll have no need for you anymore."

The institution's sirens were loudly ringing from every corner, red flashing lights indicating danger.

ANDY! Please! Help me!

Still, Madeline received no answer. Andy's attention must be completely focused on one thing, and clearly that one thing was not her but the danger inside the institution.

As Jay was tying Madeline's hands up, a guard came rushing down the hall and into the entrance of the room, which was a gaping hole from Andy's previous destruction.

"Lieutenant Jay! We need your help! A red alert patient got loose somehow! Quickly, before anyone gets hurt!"

The lieutenant, looking annoyed that the guard was here, huffed in defeat.

"Fine." He looked to Madeline. "You better stay here."

The guard glanced at Madeline but was too caught up in the crisis that he didn't seem to care about her at the moment.

As Jay and the guard ran out the hallway, Madeline slowly crept out the room then sprinted down the opposite end of the hallway. In no way was she going to stay around to find out what he wanted with her. Andy would take care of him. He said he would. Running down the hall, she began to get closer to the sounds of people yelling.

Should I go down here? But if I go the other way, HE might be there...

Still trying to decide whether or not to turn around, Madeline tripped, not paying attention. Because her hands were still tied in front of her, she fell hard onto the concrete floor, momentarily stunning her. A large shadow suddenly descended upon her. Looking up, Madeline's vision was blurry from hitting her head, but she could make out a giant brown, hazy figure. The figure was breathing hard on Madeline, its warm breath hitting her face.

Madeline's vision slowly came back to her after a few seconds. What stood in front of her was a wolf, but not just any wolf. It was a wolf the size of three normal ones put together. Its teeth were bared, and it growled at Madeline, blood lust in its eyes. Madeline screamed.
