She held the knife in front of her face. It reflected the moonlight onto her grey skin. She was going to do it and nothing was going to stop her.

She didn't want everyone to die because of her. She wanted to keep this world safe from him so she was going to do it, the unthinkable.

She was going to do this.

She was going to do this.

She was going to do this.

Just a little cut.

She could do this.

Why couldn'd she do this?

The knife hovered above her wrists, still unable to make the cut. Every time she tried to make the cut, the knife avoided her skin like the same poles of a magnet.

She sighed. She knew that she had two choices, kill herself now or watch as everyone she loved and cared about (and the ones she didn't particularly care about) perished along with the world.

She didn't like the second choice.

If she died, everyone would be saved and no one would care that she was gone.

That was a stupid lie. If she died, even though he wouldn't come, they'd still be at war with themselves and there were people that would care that she was gone, like her team, but she needed to lie to herself and say that it'd be better if she was gone.

She could do this.

She would do this.

It was just a little cut and then all her problems would be over.

That'd be nice. No more problems. No more Trigon. No more worries.

She raised the knife again, ready to make the final strike, when she heard the door behind her open and close.

Quickly, she hid the knife in her cloak and pulled up her hood. She heard footsteps approach her as she stood like a blue shadow in the moonlight.

“Hey Raven.” She heard Robin say from behind her.

“Robin.” Raven said in a form of a greeting.

“What’s up?” He asked, now standing beside her.

“Just thinking. You?” She said, wanting him to leave so she could do her deed.

“Couldn’t sleep. Had some strange thoughts in my head.” He said, looking at her, as if he was asking for an explanation.

“Well I’m off to bed.” Raven said, turning away from the Boy Wonder, still concealing her knife.

He caught her shoulder. “Stay with me.” He commanded.

Raven sighed. She just wanted to get this done, but Robin was just reminding her of everyone she was leaving behind, making her even more anxious.

Remember, no more Trigon. No more danger. She reminded herself.

She nodded and stood awkwardly with Robin, still trying to conceal the weapon.

Suddenly, Robin's lips were crashing against hers. Surprised, she dropped the knife in her hand.

It clattered to the ground as Robin broke the kiss. She could almost imagine the betrayed look in his eyes.

“Why, Raven?” He asked, instantly understanding Raven's intent.

“I-I-” Raven stuttered, still surprised by the kiss.

“Is it a specific Titan? Is it all of us? Or is it something else?" He questioned.

When Raven didn't answer, he added, “I just want to help. Trust me, Raven, no one wants to see you in an early grave.”

“I just- I just don’t want to hurt anyone.” Raven whispered, turning away from him.

“And how are you going to hurt anyone?”

“Its complicated.” She started walking away from Robin.

“Raven,” He called. She stopped at the door and looked at him. “Do me a favor, and promise me that you won't try and do that ever again.”

“I promise.” Raven promised, but she added I'd be better if I died now, though, silently.
