I glance up to see his reaction, smirking.
Saeran calmly presses the power button on his phone, darkening his screen, and puts it away in his pocket.
Damn him and his poker face. I hate him.
"Hey, (Y/n)? Are you busy the rest of the day?"
I give him a puzzled look and shake my head.
"Good. We still have to finish the posterboard, so maybe you can come home with us and stay until it's finished? As long as you have no other plans, of course."
This sneaky little shit...
"That sounds great, I guess. Seven is going to have to drive us again, though."
Hearing his name, the redhead freezes and looks up, his mouth full of chips and with crumbs on his face.
I laugh. "You okay there?"
Saeran scoffs. "It's like you haven't eaten in years or something."
Luciel swallows the chips and wipes his face. "I'm good, I'm good. I can drive you guys again. I'll drive you home again, too, (Y/n)."
I shake my head. "You don't have to do that.
He pouts. "But I want to!"
I laugh again. "Fine, then."
"You still haven't eaten anything, though. We aren't leaving until you do."
I sigh and pick up a pastry with (lemon/cherry/apple, you pick) filling and take a big bite. "Happy?" I say after I finish chewing and swallowing.
Luciel laughs, but Saeran stays silent, just staring at me.
"You should finish it. It's really not healthy to skip meals." The latter says.
I raise my eyebrow. "This isn't really healthy at all, let alone a meal."
His face flushes. "You know what I mean, just eat the damn food."
I roll my eyes and finish the pastry.
Can't believe I have to put up with this stubborn asshole.
"Better?"
Saeran nods.
At least he's happy now.
I take another sip of my drink and place it in my lap, holding it with both hands.
No one speaks.
"You sure you don't want anything else, (Y/n)?" Saeyoung looks at me wearily.
I don't want them to worry about me. "I'm alright for now. I'll take whatever you guys don't want home with me, I guess. I don't mind leftovers." I laugh awkwardly, trying to fill the silence.
It didn't work well.
Thankfully, Saeyoung looked relieved, despite the awkward pit I just threw myself in. "Okay. I paid at the counter when they gave us the food, so we're all set. Ready to go?"
I nod, and I see Saeran do the same out of the corner of my eye.
"Alright. I'll go up to the counter and ask for a to-go box. Sit tight." Seven stands and stretches a moment.
After he leaves, Saeran turns to me. "Alone at last, eh, Princess?"
I meet his gaze. "You're a crafty piece of shit, Saeran Choi."
He smirks. "You know it."
I roll my eyes. "Not necessarily a good thing."
"Yeah?" Saeran raises his eyebrow. "You're looking forward to spending more time with me. Admit it."
