It was a sunny day, Megan was sitting on the bench with her love peo At the park, they cuddled on the bench as the soft winds blew in from behind them...
"I love you Megan. Your everything I could ask for and more."
Peo told her...
"I love you more peo. More than you can ever measure."
The sky got a little darker... there was a few clouds blowing in. They held hands and walked throughout the park. The ducks quacking at them and the squires following them Through the trees, they couldn't be happier!A hard gust of wind blew....... the park seemed almost empty.... the last car speed away from them.... nobody. Was. Here. Just them... the rains came.... then the thunder...
"Peo!"
Megan. Cried out, afraid of the thunder and lightning.
"Megan it's ok..."
Peo told her as she jumped into his arms.
"It's just water from the sky... and electricity from the clouds."
He said calmly. The rain came down harder. Lightning struck a tree next to them.... he tossed her out of the way... and his leg was crushed.
"Peo!!!"
She ran to him.... and tried to lift the tree...
"It's not going to work... here!"
He took his belt off.
"Wrap it around my upper leg.. so I don't bleed out.."
He said shakily. Lightning struck again.
"Megan go to the picknic area, under the overhang, you'll be ok over there."
He instructed. But she refused
" no I'm staying right here..."
She tried to call 911 but her phone was soaked and so was his.. after about 30 minuets water began to puddle over the sidewalk... the rain came down even harder now...
"Megan go get help I'll be ok.... if we dont get out of here the river over there will flood and we'll both drown.."
She gave him a kiss, and left... an hour later he herd the sound of rushing water... flash flood...
Water rushed up over the riverbank and over his head....Megan arrived back and the road was flooded... the par was underwater, she found his body washed up by the street his leg crushed, and his face pale.... he had drowned...
"PEO!"
She cried out shaking him... trying to wake him up... she had even found help... but it was too late... he was gone...
