There.

She effected him right there these days. Helplessly. Be it anything, anything about her and he would feel it jolting his senses. A small touch, while serving breakfast or even while passing him his pillow. Her touch left him in zeal.

Now as he watched her dance in the rain, free of any ties, just being herself he felt a new feeling swelling in his chest. Smile, that's what it brought, one of the very few incidents which made him smile. The way she let the rain drops kiss her skin, he wanted to do the same. The black spree clung to her skin, making almost all of her visible. The clinking of her bangles was tuning him on. He wanted her, more than anything. Nothing, at this point nothing mattered to him, neither his rebelling emotions..the ones he always tried to control nor the changing equation between them. No matter how much he tried, he just couldn't walk away from her now. it had been easy in the initial days of their marriage, when it was nothing but a compromise for him. A compromise he made on being insisted by his parents, the one he hadn't accepted. But she was different, she had no reason to accept him, but she did. Not once she had lacked anywhere in being there for him, from the day of their marriage. He had made it clear to her, to not expect anything out of the marriage and just as he had expected her to, she never did. But, helplessly he had lost himself to her. The distance she created between them bothered him, he didn't like it anymore. Her pain hurt him, her tears bothered him, being away from her left him restless. He had fallen in love with her, not even realizing when he did. it just happened. A part of him knew he won't be able to hide it anymore, he had already lost the battle to his heart.

With slow steps, he walked towards her and stood behind her. All he wanted to do was pull her closer and kiss her senseless, but knowing he may startle her he stood there waiting for her to sense his presence. As if on cue, she stiffened and turned around facing him. The happiness that reflected off her face moments ago vanished being replaced by nothing at all. Maybe , he saw a trace of nervousness in her eyes.

- Aap aa gaye.? Woh ghar pe koi nahi tha, toh mai bas.. Aap chaliye, mai aapke kiye chai le aati hoon.

She had jut started to walk away when he held her back.

- Mat jao Ishita.

He watched as the blankness on her face was replaced by something happier even though she tried to hide it, he could see it.

Happiness. It swelled her heart when she heard him say that. Just the words she had been waiting for, the day he will stop her from going away instead of running away. She watched with teary eyes as he closed in the distance between them staring down at her. her heart beat increased when he cupped her cheek while his other hand swept across her waist pulling her closer. His touch set her body on fire, as his fingers pressed against her bare skin, his eyes boring down into hers while the water from the rain drenched them both, She could still feel the fire her body was on, despite the coolness of the rain drops.

- Stay here. With me.

He whispered huskily making the blood rush to her cheeks. He could feel her tremble under his touch and proximity, something that assured him of her love. She couldn't hide it, even if she wanted to. Maybe her lowered gaze was an effort to stop him from looking into her.
