I woke up with a pounding headache. My eyes squinted as my eyes were greeted by the streaming sunlight coming from the window. I massage my temple with my fingers. Ah! My head!

I look around me and flashes of memory from yesterday came rushing on my mind. I remember Chad brought me here. I look around and smile. The room is like Chad, alright. The room is plain, the only decoration, which I think is not intended to be, is the guitar leaning on the corner of the wall. The wall is also full of glow in the dark stars. I've always liked stars since I was a kid.

I slid out from the blanket covering me as I run my fingers on my hair trying to comb them. I looked at the wall clock hanging on the wall. It's only 4 in the morning. I moved around the room, touching everything, even the little things.

Flashes of memories from last night fill my mind and that is when I remember Katie. I immediately searched for my bag and got my phone out of it. I bite my finger as I hear the other line ringing.

"Hello?" her husky voice tells me she's still sleeping.

"Katie, it's me." I immediately pulled my phone away from my ear as soon as she spoke.

"Oh my God! Em, is this really you?! What happened to you?! Are you okay?" she continuously asked and I can imagine that she sprung up from her bed with her still messy hair.

"I'm fine, Katie. I'm sorry for what happened last night. Things became chaotic."

"Are you with the hot guy?" She asked.

"Yes..."

She squealed which made me distance my phone from my ear once again. "Give me details."

"There's no detail to give, Katie," I said but I can't help not to smile giddily.

"Once I see you, I'm going to let you tell me everything that happened," she chuckled. "I know you are still enjoying your company but remember you only have until morning, Cinderella. You have to be here by six in the morning."

"I know. I'll just confirm something from him then I'll go back there," I said.

"Alright then. It's still past four. Enjoy your stay there and I'm going to continue my sleep," she said which made me chuckle.

"Thanks, Katie," I said and we both hang up.

As soon as I placed my phone back in my bag, I heard my stomach growl. I went out of Chad's room. I carefully move around the house to search for him. The house is so neat that it looks like no one stays here.

There are pictures hanging on the wall as you walk to the living room. There are pictures of him with I assume are his parents. There are also his childhood pictures. Something caught my eyes and I deeply stare at it. My eyes widen as I take a look at the picture clearly.

There are also pictures of me hanging on the wall. Pictures of me with his parents. Pictures of me together with him. Are these pictures really me?

"It's you, Emily," I was startled by his voice. He walks closer and looks at the pictures. "They are our memories."

"What..." I start to breathe heavily. "What happened? Why can't I remember you?"

"You had an accident which is I think the reason of your memory loss," he explained. "After that accident, I never saw you again. It shattered me to pieces, Emily."

I close my eyes as I try to remember everything but it's no use. "The stars. Why do you have a lot of stars in your room?"

"It reminds me of you," he said in a quiet voice. His gaze dig deep into my soul. "You've always loved stars. Your dream was to be an astronomer."
