And you are...?

I had this strong urge to punch that smirk right off of his face. He thought he was IT. I was so busy making faces and muttering to myself about how much I hated him, that I hadn’t noticed my brother call them over. To them it must have seemed that they were approaching their old friend and his crazy sister who couldn’t control her facial expressions.

As they walked over I took a good look at them. The friendliest looking guy was the one with messy brown hair and dark brown eyes. He had very plump looking lips and was very very toned (yummy). He was wearing a white top with jeans. And had a friendly smile on his face. So, I gave him the nickname happy. Another one of the guys also looked quite approachable even if he did have weird fiery orange hair. I suppose it reminded me of Alex. On further inspection, I noticed that he looked quite tired with his dark eye bags, and I felt like offering him the back of our car for a nap almost immediately. A nap sounds so good right now. But all in all, he seemed like a funny guy; he wore one of those t-shirts with an arrow saying ‘I’m with stupid’ and luckily for me it pointed at Blade which, although trivial, made me giggle at its accuracy. But to me the red-haired guy was known as sleepy (yet funny). They seemed like nice guys, except for blondie at the end who has a face like a smacked ass. He was good looking and he knew it, arrogance was written all over him with his spikey blonde hair and blue eyes that any girl would get lost in. But he didn’t seem all too pleased with having to walk over to us. So, he shall be known as angry! And yes I am basing these names on the dwarves from Snow White. And last but not least was Blade, and he shall be known as…asshole.

“Ryan! It’s been so long dude” My brother said giving 'happy' one of those bro hugs. “Oh shit Blade, you’re back” He added on giving a surprised yet happy expression “You guys should come to mine tonight, planning on throwing a party whilst the parents are away”

“Yea sounds good, you still live in the same place?” Happy, who turns out to be called Ryan, eagerly replies. My brother just nods whilst the other guys talk about the party “Shit then, we’ve got to get so booze” sleepy says, suddenly getting some life back to him.

“I’ll come with you guys, I just forgot I quickly need to get some more food.” Max says following them. Burning holes in the back of his head, I grumpily get into the truck and slam the door shut. Turning on the radio and finding that ‘Passenger- Wrong Direction’ is playing, I can’t help but sing along with the lyrics whilst making some funny dance moves, trying to subside the urge to beat my brother with a carrot. After several songs have finished, I’m growing more bored by the second so I decide to go and hunt this idiot down just in case he’s lost in the cheese section. I was in such a mood I had failed to see a person was walking passed my door, so without realising I pushed the door wide open, knocking their coffee into them in the process.

“I’m so sorr-“ My sentence was cut short by the loud shrill that came out of that person’s mouth and the only shrill that could be associated with one other human being on this planet, Annabelle Cunley.

“Oceanna! For fuck sake! You must have some other purpose in life other than to annoy the shit out of me!”

My face had turned into one of disgust as her whiny voice went straight through me and I took in her appearance; white short shorts and an emerald green crop top, leaving nothing to the imagination. Just as my mouth was going to reply with a witty reply, I was beaten to it.

“At least she knows what age section to buy her clothes in. Those clothes looked like you brought them from baby GAP and are now trying to fit in them.” At that comment I couldn’t help let out a snicker.  Looking over my shoulder, I found a very uninterested Blade leaning against the wall, cigarette in hand, not even looking in our direction.

“Blade Cross"Her eyes were wide with shock. But her face suddenly turned flirtatious as she strutted over to him, making extra sure to swing her hips. I couldnt help but make a disgusted noise, she seems to have heard me because she briefly snapped her head to me and gave me a glare. She put her hands on his chest and pushed herself up against him “How have you been? Missed me?”

He just briefly spared her a glance and shrugged “I’ve got by just fine” he said brushing her off. This caused shock to flicker on her face, and she became more determined.

“Come on baby, we used to have so much fun”  It was truly agonizing to watch her make such a fool of herself, but not going to lie, some part of me was enjoying seeing her rejected.

“That was a long time ago, things change. Why don’t you go find someone else to throw yourself at?” And with that blunt reply, she let out a frustrated and angry sigh, turned on her heel and marched away. Leaving me in a fit of giggles.

“That was absolutely brilliant. I think my respect for you has just increase, not by much, but at least about 0.1%” I said through my fit of laughter.

I could tell he wanted to let out a chuckle, but he held it in and just gave his arrogant smirk. He then looked at me and concentrated “And you are…?”

My jaw fell open “You are joking, right?”

His piercing green eyes continued to stare at me, trying to place me somewhere. Thus answering my question that although we’d gone to the same school for a few years, he never actually knew my name. Ass.

“Should I know you?”

And with that I gave him an incredulous look and walked away, but I stopped in my tracks and reached out to take the cigarette out of his hands and stomped on it. His face was one of utter shock.

“I just saved a couple of minutes of your life asshole.” And with that I left him leaning against the wall, looking bewildered. But as I got back into the car I realised. He must have seen my horrendous dance moves. Oh no...

“See you at the party tonight, princess”

I poked my head out of the window and just saw Blade with his group of friends about to leave. He gave me his arrogant smirk and a wave, something telling me that I had pissed him off and I was going to regret it.
