Resembool, it was a peaceful town.

It was relatively quiet, and on the hill I was currently lying on, I could see the entire town.

Suddenly I heard a familiar bark, I sat up to see Winry's dog, Den.

He ran over to me and tackled me to the ground.

"Hahaha! Den! Heel boy!" I chucked as he licked my face. But then suddenly, his tongue swipes across my lips.

"Ewww den! Why?" I joked as I pushed him off, trying my best to wipe my lips to get the dog germs off.

I turn in the direction the dog had come from, and there he stood. My friend and crush, Edward Elric.

"So (y/n), you like Resembool?" He asked as he came and sat beside me.

"Yeah, it's really beautiful, it's so much better than living in a crowded city like Central" I chuckled.

"Well that's true" he smiled and lied down with his arms behind his head, trying to act cool.

I got up and sat down behind his head, then lifted his head to rest it in my lap.

"(Y-y/n)?" The short boy stammered.

"You just looked uncomfortable" I smiled. And he returned a smile.

"Well, thanks I guess" he gave a goofy grin.

"You know Ed, you eyes and hair..." I began, the blonde tilted his back slightly, looking up at me.

"They're the same colour as gold" I smiled with my cheeks tinted a light pink.

"Nobody's ever told me that before" he smiled.

"Well now I have" I smiled and leaned forward to catch his lips in a tenderising kiss. But it parted after a few seconds.

"I love you, Edward Elric" I smiled and blushed.

Ed sat up so we were face to face.

"Well I u-uhh... I like you too (y/n)" I chuckled at his shyness.

Ed gripped my shoulders and kissed me deeper for longer than last time but then parted away.

I ruffled his hair, he pouted and put his hands atop his head so I couldn't do it again.

"Your so adorable Ed" I teased him.

"Shut up!" He said defensively.

*extended ending*

"Oh and I should probably tell you, Den licked me on the lips before you got here" I chuckled.

"Ewww, that's gross, why tell me now?!" He raged.

But then he remembered something.

Just before he left the house to find (y/n), he remembered seeing den on the porch... licking his butt....

I got the idea for the extended ending a few minutes after I wrote the story and I thought it'd be funny, even tho u and Ed got Den's butt germs XD
