Selenas POV:

The rest of the day was perfect, Justin and I walked around in peace. I was shocked and so was he.

“How are people not recognizing us?” Justin asked as we walked into Macy’s.

“I’m not sure, uhm maybe we just look normal? We both haven’t taken our sunglasses off too that could be why, our or hats?” I replied looking through a stack of jeans.

“Whatever I’m glad. Let’s not jinx ourselves. Do you like these babe?” Justin asked holding up a pair of shorts with a zipper up both sides.

“I do actually; grab me a pair in a two please?” I asked turning back to my shorts.

“You’re so tinny, I love it.” He said coming up behind me and squeezing my hips, I could feel his breath on my neck.

“Stop it Justin” I giggled and pulled myself away from his grasp.

We walked toward the shoe section of the store and I was looking at heels while Justin was looking at shoes for himself. I remembered since we were going to be in New York for 4 days, we should probably have Kenny get us some condoms now that I know I’m not pregnant. I really don’t want to have another scare like that ever again; I pulled out my phone and texted Justin.

Text Kenny and tell him to grab us a box of condoms, k?

I waited for Justin to get his phone out so I could see his expression. Then I heard his phone beep twice like it always does when he gets a text and he pulled it out and then I saw his head turn to me quickly. A huge smile grew on his face and he lifted his sunglasses so I could see that he was winking at me. How corny is he.

“Could I have these in a 6 please?” I asked the sales associate she nodded and went into the back room.

I sat down waiting for her to come back out and I was checking out Justin from a far. He was so handsome; he was wearing a pair of light form fitting jeans, and a dark blue button up shirt that was open so you could see his white wife beater. How did I get so lucky? While I was getting lost in my thoughts staring at Justin I noticed a teenage girl sit down next to me. I looked over to her and smiled and then started digging in my purse for my phone.

“Are you Selena Gomez?” The teen asked almost in a whisper.

At first I was somewhat upset that she knew who I was, but then I was taken back at how calm she was being and how secretive.

“I am.” I said smiling at her and removing my sunglasses. I watched her eyes light up and her body tense, it seemed like she was just about to scream and freak out like my usual fans do but then she composed herself.

“And is that Justin over there?” She asked raising her hand a little bit and pointing over to Justin.

“Haha yes that’s him.” I chuckled a little still surprised at how calm she was being.

“Do you mind if I get your autograph? I can tell you guys are trying to be secretive, and you can put your sunglasses on too so no one notices you. I’m just a huge huge fan, I’ve been a fan of yours since the first season of Wizards of Waverly Place and all your movies, and I just have to say you did an amazing job in Spring Breakers and 13 reasons why.” She said sweetly, then pulled out an Entertainment magazine and turned to a picture of me in it and gave me a hot pink sharpie.

“Aw thank you so much really and thank you so much for being so quiet and just not over the top ya know. Me and Justin really appreciate it; do you want me to have him sign this too?” I asked trying to do everything I could for her since she was being the greatest fan I’ve ever ran into in New York.
